Chapter 177 - Chapter 177 Illidan in Action

The allied forces converged outside Sin'dorei and gradually approached the city walls.

The massive Agamaggan and Tortuga constantly drew the attention of the demons; Agamaggan, like a tank, rampaged across the battlefield, quickly catching the eye of the powerful Pit Lord Mannoroth.

All Pit Lords are warmongers, having destroyed countless worlds. Their martial arts are exquisite, and Mannoroth is a standout among them.

Agamaggan couldn't even defeat his subordinate Azzakel, let alone Mannoroth.

Fortunately, he was not fighting alone.

Cenarius stayed by Agamaggan's side, helping him deal with Mannoroth. With the experience of fighting Azzakel, the two fought Mannoroth to a draw.

Although Mannoroth was annoyed by Cenarius, his several surprise attacks failed to harm Cenarius, so he could only engage in a war of attrition with the two demigods.

Tortuga, on the other hand, was much more at ease; it crawled to a critical position, then retracted its body into its shell, allowing the demons to attack. Its turtle shell defense was truly astonishing; no matter how the demons attacked, they could not harm it.

Metri led the Mages to continuously cast spells near Tortuga, killing wave after wave of demons.

The demons also wanted to launch a surprise attack and eliminate these annoying Elven Mages first. However, Metri not only possessed the powerful aluneth but also the eye of aman'thul; any demon daring to ambush the Mage corps was slain by the eye of aman'thul.

Hu'en and Draksa led the Tauren and Antu'dara armies, constantly riding and slaying around the two demigods, specifically targeting the demons' weak points.

The Sentry Shooters led by Salador provided long-range support for the two armies.

Mejia, holding the tide stone, along with Maiev, Antaria, and others, served as reserves, ready to reinforce and assist in dangerous areas at any time.

In the sky, Luna, riding Smaug, fought alongside the Dragon Legion against the Burning Legion's air force, attempting to penetrate Sin'dorei and disrupt the enemy's troop deployment.

Gale stood beside Garrosh, watching him command the battle in an orderly manner.

"Aredaras Regiment, continue to advance."

"Black Rook Hold Regiment, cover Agamaggan's flank and hold back that group of demons."

"Human Legion, move to the rear flank of the Earth Spirit Legion, ready to assist them at any time."

"Notify Ursol and Ursoc, they can launch their surprise attack now!"

...

Such meticulous battlefield judgment capabilities left even Gale far behind. Garrosh's micro-management on the battlefield, like his micro-management in spellcasting, was precise to the millimeter, truly an art.

To resist the allied forces, the demons continuously sent troops out of the city.

A figure lurked in the shadows, moving against the flow of the demon army, and arrived near the Well of Eternity.

Taking advantage of no one's attention, Illidan Stormrage appeared and filled several bottles with well water.

A demon patrol approached, and he had to re-enter Stealth, evading the demons' detection magic.

Illidan Stormrage had been granted Fel Sight by Sargeras; all creatures were visible to him, especially demons, whose residual fel energy from walking Illidan Stormrage could see clearly.

This allowed him to easily evade demon detection, moving through Sin'dorei as if it were uninhabited. He left the Well of Eternity and made his way towards the Temple of the Moon.

Azshara had summoned the Elune Sisterhood to Sin'dorei, then had the Moon Guard imprison them in the Temple of the Moon.

Tyrande, who came to Sin'dorei to deliver a message, was also captured by the Moon Guard and sent to meet Azshara. Azshara wanted to turn Tyrande, but how could Tyrande agree?

Rejected, Azshara became furious and attacked Tyrande, but Elune descended divine magic, blocking all of Azshara's attacks.

Azshara had no choice but to imprison Tyrande in the Temple of the Moon as well.

The Moon Guard responsible for guarding the Temple of the Moon was led by Dath'Remar Sunstrider.

He had always been dissatisfied with the demons' slaughter of the Kaldorei, but the Moon Guard had sworn eternal loyalty to Azshara, and he did not want to break his oath.

However, with Gale's previous surprise attack on Sin'dorei and Tyrande's favor from Elune, Dath'Remar began to hesitate. He often asked himself: Is such a queen truly worth serving?

Now, Gale had once again led a large army to Sin'dorei, and Azshara and the demons were likely facing their doom.

And he did not want to be buried with Azshara.

Just then, Illidan Stormrage appeared in the Temple of the Moon.

"Who are you?" the Priests asked cautiously, looking at the strange Illidan Stormrage.

"Illidan Stormrage?"

Tyrande recognized him at a glance, which made Illidan Stormrage very happy, "Tyrande, it's really good that you're okay. There's a resistance army attacking outside the city now, and the city's defenses are very lax; I can take you out of Sin'dorei."

Tyrande shook her head, "No, Illidan Stormrage, I can't leave."

"Why?" Illidan Stormrage asked, puzzled.

Tyrande: "We must destroy the demon's portal; this is Elune's will."

Illidan Stormrage was speechless; at a time like this, who cared about Elune?

Dyganna walked over, "Illidan Stormrage, can you get out of the city? Please contact the army outside the city; we can launch an attack from within the city to help them open the city gates."

Illidan Stormrage frowned and said, "Doing so is very dangerous; the demons won't let you leave here."

Tyrande said, "Illidan Stormrage, we have no choice but to do this. You quickly go outside to send word. We will persuade the Moon Guard to act with us; as long as the army outside quickly enters the city, we won't be in too much danger."

Illidan Stormrage: "Tyrande, I'm afraid something might happen to you."

"Don't worry, I'll be fine," Tyrande said. "I have already received Elune's approval, and with Elune's protection, I will be safe. Illidan Stormrage, you must leave the city as soon as possible to contact the army outside... and Malfurion, he should be outside the city."

Hearing Tyrande mention his brother, Illidan Stormrage felt uncomfortable. But he still nodded, "I will find him."

Illidan Stormrage re-entered Stealth, and Tyrande immediately went to the Moon Guard's blockade and found Dath'Remar.

"Commander, I heard you are friends with Your Excellency Gale?"

Dath'Remar looked at her warily, "What do you want to say?"

Tyrande smiled and glanced at the Moon Guard, then said, "If Azshara knew about this, I wonder if she would forgive you."

Dath'Remar fell silent. If it were the Azshara of old, she certainly wouldn't take this matter to heart. But with the current Azshara, Dath'Remar couldn't be sure.

Although he and Gale were just ordinary friends, he did not want to gamble with his life.

Tyrande said, "Commander, Your Excellency Gale's army is outside the city. If he attacks the city and finds that you, as his friend, are standing with the enemy, I wonder what Your Majesty Gail would think?"

Dath'Remar weighed his options. Although Tyrande was using both coercion and inducement, everything she said was true.

If Gale won and learned that he was loyal to Azshara, he would certainly not spare him out of friendship.

But if he helped the Sisterhood, then when rewards were given, Gale would definitely not treat him unfairly. His previous actions would also become a period of enduring hardship, waiting for the right moment to revolt and deliver a fatal blow to Azshara.

Thinking this, he looked at Tyrande, "What should we do?"

Tyrande smiled.
