Chapter 174 - Chapter 174 Abyss Lord Azgalor

With the Kaldorei army incorporated, Gale's power rapidly expanded.

He looked at the allied forces, "The demon army seems endless. We cannot directly confront them. We must close their portals; only then do we have a chance to win."

Everyone agreed with him. In terms of individual strength, aside from demigods, the soldiers' power was far inferior to the demons. In terms of numbers, the demons also far outnumbered the allied forces.

Currently, the allied forces were at a disadvantage. To defeat the demons, they could only cut off their supply lines, which relied on the portals.

Alexstrasza said, "The demons have established another portal in Suramar, where the defenses are much weaker than Sin'dorei. Perhaps we can attack Suramar as a practice run for our assault on Sin'dorei."

Gale nodded, "That's a good idea."

He looked around and said, "However, we cannot ignore the Sin'dorei direction either. Slower armies will advance directly to Sin'dorei, while faster armies will first attack Suramar and then proceed to Sin'dorei."

Everyone nodded, dividing their troops into two parts.

Gale sent Garrosh to lead the army to Sin'dorei, while he led his own forces to Suramar.

The others discussed and decided that Ursol, Ursoc, leading the Bearman, the turtle demigod Tortuga, Tauren without mounts, Stone Giants, Drogbar, and Earth Spirits, would follow Garrosh's army.

Cenarius, Malorne, Aviana, Agamaggan, the Dragon Legion, and the mounted Tauren led by Huln Highmountain, would go to Suramar with Gale.

After the decision was made, the two large armies immediately separated.

Unlike the leisurely pace of the army heading south to Sin'dorei, the army going to Suramar moved with incredible speed.

The Tauren cavalry led by Huln Highmountain set off first, galloping on their moose. After they had gone far, Agamaggan set off. He didn't run, but merely walking, he was faster than the moose cavalry.

With his massive size, each step covered dozens of yards. In just a few minutes, he caught up to the moose. The moose, feeling fear, ran even harder.

Huln Highmountain was speechless. If they kept running like this, they wouldn't even reach Felsoul Hold, let alone Suramar.

Just then, Agamaggan snorted, and green light surrounded the moose. Natural energy surged into their bodies. These moose became stronger, their bodies grew larger, their strides lengthened, and their pace quickened, actually matching Agamaggan's walking speed.

Agamaggan reached out, and the white stag Malorne and Cenarius set off. They ran, filling in the large pits Agamaggan had made.

Perhaps to avoid Gale's complaints, Cenarius did not cause a blooming of flowers.

The Dragon Legion then departed, transforming into their true forms and soaring into the sky, quickly surpassing the ground forces.

After Gale assembled his army, he raised the eternal spear, and the Rainbow Bridge tore through the sky.

At Shal'Aran, the Rainbow Bridge descended.

Gale ascended the slope, looking towards Suramar and the demon encampment.

Since the last Dragon Legion raid on Suramar, the demons had strengthened their defenses.

They had reinforced the city's defenses, installing multiple Fel Cannons on Suramar's walls. They also set up a large number of ballistas, seemingly specifically designed to hunt Dragon Legion.

Gale saw that near the Hall of Order within the city, several Dragon Legion were imprisoned, their souls being painfully tortured by a Destroyer Witch and infused with fel energy by Eredar mages. Clearly, they intended to transform these Dragon Legion into war machines obedient to the Burning Legion's commands.

In the valley west of Suramar, the demons had transformed it into a Fel-infused land. A Pit Lord led an army stationed there, and the valley could not conceal his massive body. Gale saw his evil head.

Gale sneered inwardly: the demons were actually playing military strategy, with Suramar and the outdoor camp acting as mutually supporting strongholds.

If it were the natives, they might actually have been tricked by this move. The rebel forces were not strong to begin with, and fighting on two fronts would surely lead to defeat.

But Gale was not a native; when it came to military strategy, he was the demons' ancestor.

The key to the pincer strategy lay in two points of interaction: if one side was attacked, the other would send troops to rescue. As long as one side was prevented from sending troops, this pincer strategy would instead weaken the demons' power.

Waiting for the other troops to arrive, Gale began to assign combat missions.

"The Blue Dragon and Green Dragon will patrol between Suramar and the demon camp, staying out of range of the cannons and ballistas on the city walls. They only need to prevent the demons within the city from sending reinforcements."

"Agamaggan will be the vanguard, and other melee units will charge with you. Be careful of that tall demon inside the valley; his strength is very powerful."

"Lady Alexstrasza, lead the Red Dragon to conduct battlefield rescue work, protecting the wounded as much as possible."

The Bronze Dragons were guarding the Black Dragon, lest they hold them back.

The three Transmigrators had blended into Gale's army, and they were a bit bewildered. The entire war seemed to be progressing very smoothly, and it felt like their presence or absence made no difference.

The Demon Soul had not been forged, and Deathwing had been exiled. It felt like their transmigration was completely meaningless. If Krasus hadn't recovered his memories yet, they would have thought they had completed Nozdormu's mission.

After everyone was ready, Agamaggan stomped his foot on the ground, and a path immediately appeared leading to the Fel Valley. He galloped on all fours, charging in like a truck. Everywhere he went, countless demons were trampled to death or sent flying, with no demon able to withstand his mighty power.

"Kill!"

The allied forces shouted, following Agamaggan and attacking the terrified demons. The entire war was a massacre. Whether it was the Tauren cavalry led by Huln Highmountain, Antu'dara's elite troops, or the three Transmigrators, they had all accumulated enough experience in killing demons.

Upon seeing demons, spells and arrows flew first. When they got close, artifacts cleared the way, and then ordinary soldiers fought multiple demons at once.

It wasn't until Agamaggan charged in front of the Pit Lord that the situation changed.

"Awoo—"

Azzakel roared, charging at Agamaggan and raising his greatsword to strike.

Agamaggan used his teeth to block the greatsword, but his charge also stopped. This made Agamaggan a bit annoyed. Although Gale had warned him, he didn't expect this demon to be so powerful. Furthermore, he felt a threat from Azzakel's sword; if he were hit in a vital spot by this sword, he might die.

Azzakel's martial skills were excellent, swinging his greatsword with every move aimed at Agamaggan's eyes. Agamaggan could only block with his teeth, retreating if he couldn't block.

This disrupted the allied forces' offensive rhythm, forcing them to pause and giving the demon army a chance to catch their breath.
