Chapter 162 - Chapter 162: Raid on Zin Azshari

King Gale took out the eternal holy grail and replenished the Arcane Energy for all Mages.

The Druids communicated with nature, seeking as much help as possible from it.

Warriors polished their weapons and repaired their armor; Rangers adjusted their bows and crossbows, preparing arrows; Priests and Shamans blessed everyone, and Aeon did the same.

Behind Aeon, a group of small elves appeared. These were the Kaldorei who had sacrificed themselves in previous battles. Aeon had preserved their souls, and they became his followers.

King Gale followed the mountain path to the top of the slope, looking at the Fel-infused Sin'dorei, his heart filled with hatred.

"This city should have been the most brilliant pearl in this world. It's only because of Azshara's decision that it has become this monstrous sight."

The Kaldorei were full of resentment, equally displeased with what had happened to Sin'dorei.

King Gale activated the four pillars of creation, "Now, it's time to reclaim our city!"

"Attack!"

Draksa brandished UmbraEdge and charged down the hillside. Carlos and other Warriors followed closely, assaulting Sin'dorei.

Behind them were the Rangers led by Navoli, interspersed with Priests and Night Saber riders led by Maiev.

Further back were the Sentry Shooters led by Salador and the Mages led by Antaria.

Stone Giants, Tauren, and Drogbar were mixed among them, their tall figures holding shields, responsible for drawing the demons' fire.

The demons of Sin'dorei had long known of the allied army's arrival. They had previously sent troops to block them multiple times, but these were all annihilated by the allied army. Therefore, they gathered heavy forces in Sin'dorei, awaiting the allied army's challenge.

As soon as the allied army charged, the demons reacted. Countless demons surged out of Sin'dorei, attempting to overwhelm the allied army with sheer numbers.

Just then, four beams of light shot over.

King Gale, Metri, Lunden, and Mejia, controlling the Hammer of Kaz'goroth, the eye of aman'thul, Aggramar's Shield, and the tidestone of golganneth, caught the demons off guard.

Wherever the light beams passed, demons were vaporized. Whether it was a powerful Doom Guard or a sturdy Hellfire, none could withstand the attack of the pillars of creation.

The demons' formation was unstable after the sudden attack. The Warriors seized the opportunity to rush forward, disrupting the demons' front lines. The Rangers' arrows and the Mages' spells provided support from behind. Priests summoned divine magic to strike at the difficult-to-deal-with demons.

Maiev, moreover, used all her Divine Power to summon an Avenger.

As soon as the Avenger appeared, it immediately summoned Vengeance Souls from the bodies of the demons. The countless recently slain demons meant countless Vengeance Souls. Although their attacks were weak, when concentrated, they were lethal.

The demons initially paid them no mind, but soon found themselves surrounded by these annoying little things. They tried to attack the Vengeance Souls, only to find that physical attacks had no effect on them.

Tichondrius, the commander, immediately ordered, "Use Fel spells to clear out those damned souls."

The Eredar Mages immediately cast Fel spells. The powerful Fel energy destroyed the Vengeance Souls' ethereal forms, eliminating them.

However, as long as the Avenger remained, the Vengeance Souls would be endless.

Tichondrius pointed at the Avenger, "Release the Hellfire."

The sky immediately became overcast, and countless Hellfire rained down on the allied army, with the Avenger's location becoming a priority target.

King Gale sneered, controlling the Hammer of Kaz'goroth to sweep across the sky. The light beam passed through the Hellfire, annihilating them in mid-air. His micro-management was powerful, intercepting most of them before they hit the ground.

The remaining small portion could no longer hinder the allied army.

The Stone Giants immediately rushed towards the Hellfire, raising their shields to smash them to the ground, then plunging their greatswords into their bodies. While constructs were powerful, they were far inferior to intelligent Stone Giants.

However, Tichondrius's goal was achieved. Several Hellfire landed near the Avenger, swarming it and embracing it, using the Fel flames on their bodies to burn the Avenger.

Maiev wanted to go and rescue the Avenger, but Nasha stopped her.

"Master, we should continue to push forward. Don't forget King Gale's words!"

Maiev gritted her teeth and continued forward with Maiev. Her purpose in joining the assault team was singular: to reach the Temple of the Moon in Sin'dorei to deal with any Sisterhood members who might still be alive.

Huln Highmountain led the Tauren in a furious charge, sweeping through all enemies without resistance. The charging Tauren were like tanks, crushing all demons who dared to stand in their way.

The Tauren quickly surged ahead of the Kaldorei Warriors, paving the way for the allied army's advance.

Though Turok was old, his ambition far surpassed his youth. He led the Drogbar behind the Tauren, killing any demons who dared to split the allied army.

The Doom Lord Krasus noticed the Tauren and Drogbar. He led his army and rushed over. The Tauren charged too quickly for him to catch up, so he set his target on the Drogbar. As tall as a Stone Giant, he raised his foot to stomp on Turok.

The Drogbar hastily dodged. Turok, due to his old age and slow movements, was a little late and had his thigh crushed by Krasus. Krasus pressed down hard, and Turok fell silent.

"Gray King—"

The Drogbar cried out in grief, then charged at Krasus. Krasus disdained these crawling insects, kicking the Drogbar away.

"Demon! You are seeking death!"

Carlos roared, seizing the moment Krasus's leg landed to jump up. He then grabbed onto Krasus's armor and quickly climbed onto him.

"Get off, you bug!" Krasus waved his hand, attempting to shake Carlos off.

But Carlos, instead, raised Mamotiwusi's Bite and plunged it into Krasus's hand. Using the leverage, he leaped into the air and thrust Mamotiwusi's Bite into Krasus's chest.

Shadow Divine Power and Blood Divine Power instantly erupted, disrupting the energy balance within Krasus. Fel energy exploded from Krasus's body like a nuclear bomb.

Carlos quickly used Ice Imprint Grip to shield himself, but Ice Imprint Grip could not withstand the force of the explosion and was torn to shreds. The shockwave threw Carlos into the air. In mid-air, he activated the protection of the armor of eternal winter, which saved him from being killed by the fall. The armor of eternal winter shattered, and Carlos bounced on the ground more than a dozen times, knocked unconscious.

The Fel explosion cleared a section of the battlefield, leaving everyone stunned. Draksa was the first to react, "Charge!"

The Kaldorei Warriors immediately abandoned their opponents and continued to run forward.

The allied army was small in number. If they were constantly entangled with the enemy, it would be impossible to reach the Well of Eternity. Therefore, King Gale's strategy was to avoid engagement if possible and to rush to the vicinity of the Well of Eternity while ensuring safety.

Draksa executed this command very well.
