The office was sleek and spacious, designed with that minimalist luxury foreigners seemed to favor—clean lines, understated color tones, and furniture that screamed money was no object.
At least for now, Cecilia's impression of the company was a positive one.
The representative who came to meet them was a man in his fifties, with short, graying hair and a pair of gold-rimmed glasses that lent him a gentle air. He spoke fluent English and carried himself with the calm politeness of a veteran businessman.
Cecilia couldn't help but feel a bit more at ease about the deal.
