I registered the pain spreading throughout my body the minute I opened my eyes. My eyelids felt heavy, almost dragging my eyes closed but I managed to keep them open. How long was I asleep for? Yet it felt like I needed to go back to sleep.
I didn't need to question what happened to my body and why I was in so much pain. I knew why, and I remembered what happened up until… I paused at the realisation that a chunk of my memory was missing.
Every joint in my body groaned in protest as I pushed up on the soft mattress. Where was I? I cast a quick glance around the room and my stomach sank. Why was I here? How did I even end up here? I didn't remember a thing past the point when he entered me the second time. Everything after that seemed hazy.
