Kaedyr had managed to set his nose back in place while fending off my blows with one hand. The minute he fixed his nose, he gave up fending off my blows. He grabbed my throat without so much as a hassle to flip us over. But I wouldn't be a two-spirit hybrid if I let him have that so easily.
I fought him every step of the way. We grappled around the floor. Each time he managed to pin me down I fought off his hold. Was he going easy on me? I wasn't sure because with this freaking collar around my neck, I wasn't as strong but I wasn't weak either.
Every attempt he made to pin me down was futile. But I knew this wasn't going to work long term. Kaedyr had more stamina than me, if I wasn't collared I could've succeeded with fighting my way out of here unscathed. But my powers were limited so I needed to make smart choices.
