Fever and nausea rolled through my body like waves .

" I did horrible," I told him.
He shook his head ," You stood your ground . You told him what you wanted to ."
" But we lost ," I choked ,"Liam....I will talk to him tomorrow again . If he wants me to go back -"
" What are you saying ?," he looked confused .
" You know that if he reveals our marriage agreement both the company will suffer losses . There is also your father who is seeking for any opportunity he can get ."
" Again ," he kissed my hand ," You are worrying for the wrong thing again ."
I took my hand away . I needed him to understand what was on the line .
" I have to , Liam," I told him ," I can not let you or your family get hurt because of this ."
" Ah , are you thinking about leaving me again?," he looked at me with wide eyes.
I blinked fast to dry the tears ," If - if that's what if takes to protect you ."
" Julia ," he looked at me in disbelief," You are never going to be able to leave . I am done with that threat ."
" Liam , that's not it ," I groaned ,I could not my understand why someone as smart as him was acting stupid now .
" You keep saying that again and again ," his voice kept getting colder and colder ," Do you enjoy the thought of going away ? Am I suffocating you ? Do you find me unbearable?"
" It's because I love you ," I hissed at him ," Why can't you understand? It's because I love you and that's why I can not bear to see you getting hurt for me ."
I hid my face in my palms before the tears spilled out .
Leaving him would be painful , especially since it had not even been a long time since we had got back together. But that was all I could do to protect my husband.
" Julia ....you are illogical here ," Liam repeated like a child ," If you love me , you are supposed to stay with me. "
" Don't you think that I want that ?," I told him . I knew that my eyes were red as I looked at him. ," But this - there is too much coming between us and can hurt us in anyday ."

I looked at him . It was not as easy as he had made it sound .
There was almost a childlike belief in him that nothing could seperate us.

In the morning when he had left , the fear surrounded me again.
