Anna's cool gaze landed on the envelope in Ruby's hand. Her beautiful face showed not a single flicker of panic, staying perfectly calm and detached.
Ruby pressed on, her voice sharp. "Anna, the legal team from Titan Group works fast. They sent a lawyer's letter today. They'll probably file the lawsuit by tomorrow."
"Oh," Anna replied, her tone utterly bored. She stepped around Ruby and headed straight for the break room to make herself a cup of herbal tea.
Watching Anna's unshakable calm was like punching a fluffy pillow for Ruby, all her effort just vanished into nothing.
Once her tea was ready, Anna held the cup leisurely, ready to walk back to her office. Ruby finally snapped.
