After Fiona and Anna left, Tina stood pale and trembling. David's harsh and intimidating attitude had left her terrified.
Though the immediate danger had passed, Mrs. Luke now knew the truth, it wasn't Tina who had saved Elder Luke through acupuncture.
Sure enough, once Anna and the others were gone, Mrs. Luke turned to Tina with a cold expression.
However, with Elder Luke still present, she held her anger in check and said curtly, "Emma, stay here with Grandpa. Tina, come with me."
Her voice was calm, but the chill underneath was unmistakable. She glanced at Tina once before walking out.
Feeling a cold sweat down her back, Tina hesitated before reluctantly following.
Outside, Mrs. Luke stood tall and dignified, her eyes blazing with restrained fury. She stared directly at Tina, her lips pressed into a thin line.
Tina bit her lower lip and lowered her gaze, whispering weakly, "Mother-in-law..."
