I'd like to express my gratitude to everyone. After completing the Johto arc, the Hoenn arc will be available as premium content.
I wanted to write about Pokémon to fulfill the dreams I had while watching the anime
Some people have criticized aspects like the Pokémon names or said the protagonist was too cautious and frustrating to read. I've considered these issues too. I didn't want to create a stereotypical protagonist; I wanted to portray an ordinary person, but my writing skills are limited, and I may have disappointed some readers.
Before the protagonist traveled through time, he was just an ordinary person—not a trained fighter or warrior, just very ordinary. Traveling to another world doesn't automatically make someone exceptional.
I've already addressed the system. It's just a tool to help the protagonist. It can only assist; it doesn't interfere with the protagonist's choices or path. Everything depends on the protagonist's decisions.
Regarding power levels: consider this—one is a child who just traveled back in time, and the other is a massive organization that dominates the world. How foolish would the protagonist have to be to oppose the League head-on? And frankly, most of what the protagonist has now comes from the League. Even if they had a falling out, they wouldn't completely turn against them. People should have gratitude.
Some find it hard to believe that Solgaleo can't beat Dragonite. Cosmog was only recently born. Do you expect it to defeat a fully-trained starter Pokémon? Besides, battles aren't just about species. Every aspect—experience, knowledge, the trainer's commands, and move application—must be considered. An overwhelming victory would only happen if the power gap was truly enormous.
After all this venting, I'm really just sharing my thoughts. Of course, there are also people who encourage me, and I'm very grateful. It's your encouragement that keeps me going. Otherwise, this book would have ended long ago.
The Kanto and Johto arcs are just the beginning. In Hoenn, the protagonist can truly demonstrate his skills and rapidly improve his strength. It's also a time for battles between various legendary Pokémon, expanding his influence and competing with the League until he achieves the title of Pokémon Master.
