Chapter 189 - Chapter 189 Human body enchantment, I don't know what time it is

"...It's pretty much as I expected, Harry is safe for now," Dumbledore said dryly, trying to justify himself.

"..."

....

The matter ended with Dumbledore, unable to bear the strange looks from those present, fleeing back to his office.

"What about you two? Do you need me to send Bruce to you?" Kayson looked at Sirius, automatically assigning Bruce's persona to Sirius.

"My office isn't that big," Lupin shook his head and walked towards his own office.

"...Is he angry?" Sirius asked.

"If you're curious, you can transform into Bruce and go ask him," Kayson said, returning to his office. He was studying the plain ring in his hand—this was what allowed Sirius to hide under the monocle for so long.

This ring was not a very elaborate clever device; it simply released a medium-sized field that enveloped Sirius, and then the name of this field was modified.

Thus, what Kayson's monocle actually saw was not Sirius himself, but the field emitted by the ring.

The basic principle was that, but he hadn't yet figured out how the ring's field was emitted.

However, such a thing was neither difficult nor simple.

Grindstone, you know.

He had initially used a grindstone to grind out the magic symbols of an ender pearl, adding them to himself to gain the ability to teleport.

And now, he could naturally use a grindstone to grind out the magic symbols of this ring. If he could also spread out a field, wouldn't he also be able to teleport people like a Phoenix and with Apparition?

Although the teleportation process was quite painful, no one could refuse such a cool method.

After all, no matter how painful, it was much better than rubbing a person soft and round and stuffing them into a pipe, or hooking their belly button.

Soon, as Kayson held the ring in one hand and turned the handle of the grindstone with the other, a piece of parchment was almost immediately covered with symbols.

These symbols still needed to be broken down and reassembled into an enchantment book, and only then would it be human enchantment.

There was little to do today, with no classes all afternoon, and no Little Wizards idly coming to chat, which gave Kayson a quiet working environment.

After all, even Sirius wasn't here at this moment. Usually, he would have to endure Sirius's jumping and running around, and he didn't have the patience to reason with a dog.

But now it was different; Sirius had successfully been adopted by Lupin… Although Lupin hadn't agreed, just thinking about Sirius's thick-skinned appearance as a dog, Lupin would have to move the doghouse upstairs today, whether he wanted to or not!

Just as Kayson was thinking this, Sirius waddled in from the dog flap, his backside swaying.

"Are you here to move the doghouse? Remember to clean up the dead corners and such," Kayson said without lifting his head.

Sirius then transformed back into human form: "He didn't agree to let me live in his office."

"He doesn't agree, so you won't go? Are you still a Gryffindor?" Kayson asked in confusion.

"Well, I can't just force my way in, can I? What if he doesn't feed me?" Sirius said pitifully, sitting on the sofa.

"Well… before, you were a dog, and we could even sleep in the same bed, let alone the same room. But now you're asking me to sleep in the same room with a grown man…" Kayson rarely put down his quill and looked up at Sirius.

"That's alright, just keep treating me as Bruce… I'm going to go pilot the boat, bye!" Sirius said, quickly transforming back into a dog and running towards an unoccupied boat.

"Come back."

Sirius trotted back on all fours.

"I can't just let you freeload off me, can I? Shouldn't you do some work?" Kayson asked, placing the finished enchantment book on the corner of the table.

Sirius swallowed. Although he had known early on that the Alchemy Professor in front of him loved all kinds of Alchemy experiments, possibly even involving human Alchemy experiments, he had never truly imagined that he would one day become...

"I'll make you a gardener's work backpack, and you can go be a gardener for me in that plant area when you have time," Kayson said, pointing to the square forest not far away.

"...Huh?"

"Huh what?" Kayson asked.

"You're not going to make me your Alchemy experiment subject or enchantment experiment subject?" Sirius asked.

"Those are dangerous; I haven't gone insane enough to experiment on humans," Kayson said, placing the enchantment book directly on the Enchanting Table. As the enchantment book floated up, a purple magic quickly drilled into his body.

The speed was so fast that Sirius didn't even react. At the same time, he somewhat blankly touched his forehead and pinched his arm, wondering if he had a fever or was dreaming.

After all, the Alchemy Professor in front of him had just said a second ago that experiments were dangerous and couldn't be done on humans, and the next second he was directly performing one on himself...

Is this right? So, experiments are dangerous, but practical application isn't?

Then he recovered a shred of sanity, looked at Kayson who had fallen to the ground, and then ran directly towards the boat. If he had called Lupin or Dumbledore earlier, this poor Alchemy Professor might have still been able to save his life.

Just as he was about to touch the boat, he felt a sharp pain in his tail, but he ignored it and jumped directly onto the boat....

Soon, Lupin, who received Sirius's intelligence, suddenly felt as if the sky had fallen.

A large part of his reason for being the Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor this semester was to keep an eye on Kayson and prevent him from causing trouble while teaching, or to teach while keeping an eye on Kayson.

And when he used to run to the alchemy office for no reason, Kayson was as quiet as the stone statues guarding Dumbledore's Headmaster's office. But after only one afternoon away today, Kayson had given him a big surprise.

"You go find Dumbledore, I'll take Kayson to the Medical Wing!" Lupin said, pushing open the door and running towards the alchemy office. He opened the office door and saw Kayson standing at the doorway as if nothing had happened, holding a piece of black, furry something.

"I've researched a field magic. This field magic allows me to do anything with ender magic within the field's range."

"For example, just now I wanted to use ender magic to teleport Sirius back, but unfortunately he ran a bit too fast… Of course, it's a good thing he was fast, otherwise what I have in my hand would be half a dog," Kayson explained dryly, holding half of Sirius's dog tail.
