"The antidote, Snape, Professor Snape, we are doing serious business now. If you want revenge, come at me!" Lupin shouted loudly at Snape.
But Snape just shook his head: "He is much worse than you. If you are a fool, then he is a brainless evil, he doesn't even know what consequences his actions will cause..."
He took a deep breath, as if in ecstasy, then slowly said: "For example, using his good friend to try to kill his enemy, but he doesn't understand what the consequences are for his good friend. He also became a shameful traitor... Hmph... A traitor is more hateful than an enemy!"
Sirius, who was rolling on the ground uncontrollably, stared at Snape with his scarlet eyes: "I am not the betrayer! It was Peter Pettigrew!"
Kayson, who had been held back by Dumbledore from the beginning, finally couldn't stand it anymore. He shook off Dumbledore's arm and a milk magic spell hit Sirius's chest.
Sirius immediately let out a sigh of relief. He patted Kayson's arm: "There's no need for that." Then he propped himself up to sit: "I'm not a betrayer! If you don't believe me, you can take out your Veritaserum and add whatever you want to it!"
Snape sneered, but still pulled out the Veritaserum from his pocket. Unlike the large bottle of poison from before, this time it was only a small bottle the size of an eye dropper, not even full, with only a bottom left.
Sirius took the Veritaserum Snape tossed to him and poured it directly into his mouth.
The next moment, his eyes became clear, and his whole person seemed to have lost his soul, becoming an empty shell.
"Did you betray the Potters?" Dumbledore walked over and asked.
"No."
"Who betrayed the Potters?"
"Peter Pettigrew."
"Who was the Secret-Keeper back then?"
"Peter Pettigrew."
"Why?"
"It was my idea. I secretly switched the Secret-Keeper to Peter Pettigrew. I thought we could set two targets. I would openly attract Lord Voldemort and the Death Eaters' pursuit, letting Peter Pettigrew hide in the dark as the Secret-Keeper."
At this moment, Lupin walked over, unable to restrain himself: "Why didn't I know about this?"
"We didn't tell anyone at the time. Only I, Peter Pettigrew, James Potter, and Lily Potter knew."
Lupin was a bit at a loss, he didn't know how to continue asking for a moment.
In his heart, the four of them should have been the best of friends in the world. Although he understood that the more people who knew about such a thing, the more danger there was, and the fewer people who knew, the better, he still asked his question.
"Why did you choose Peter Pettigrew and not me?"
"Because you are a Werewolf."
"What?"
"After the full moon, you would be very weak. Plus, Greyback was searching for Werewolves everywhere at the time, and Lord Voldemort had many preferential policies for Werewolves. We knew you couldn't betray James, but comparing your two situations, we chose the more secure Peter Pettigrew."
When Kayson heard Sirius's answer, he immediately slapped his forehead, and then he subconsciously looked at Lupin, only to see Lupin already kicking towards Sirius's face.
With a loud bang, Sirius directly hit the square tree behind him, while Lupin stormed out of the office.
"Damn Veritaserum!" Kayson gritted his teeth and was about to chase Lupin, but Dumbledore directly used magic to pull him back.
"Let him finish," Dumbledore whispered.
"Isn't he done already? That's all there is to it. If there's anything important, you can add it later." With that, Kayson directly used Ender Teleportation to leave the office, looking at Lupin who was standing with his hands on his hips at the end of the corridor, looking at the Iron Golem.
"Alright, feeling upset?" Kayson clapped his hands and asked.
Lupin turned around: "Anger is anger, but I understand. If I were either of them, I would make the same choice. It's like one is one hundred percent, and the other is ninety-nine point nine nine nine percent... Although the probability is infinitely close, one hundred percent is always the safest."
"That's good, I thought you were going out to cosplay a sunshine doll, you scared me to death." Kayson breathed a sigh of relief, watching Lupin speak as if nothing had happened.
"Do I look that fragile?" Lupin asked back, spreading his hands.
"Very much so," Dumbledore said, appearing beside Kayson at some point.
"...You came out... Sirius won't be killed by Severus, will he?" Both looked at the suddenly appearing Dumbledore with some helplessness.
"Severus has his limits, but I've never been very optimistic about your state of mind, Lupin."
"Then you are mistaken."
Not long after, Sirius, who felt like he had died once, also walked out, leaning on the wall. Kayson looked at Snape, who was walking behind Sirius, with a bewildered expression.
"What did you do again?"
Snape, however, did not take responsibility for what he shouldn't have: "That's none of my business. Perhaps he hit the back of his head on the tree."
"Remus, I apologize to you," Sirius said with difficulty to Lupin.
"Oh... Actually, I'm not angry."
"But he still deserves a kick, or do you want a few more?"
"Just wait," Lupin said with a mocking expression.
Leaving the stage to Lupin and Sirius, Kayson pulled Dumbledore and Snape aside and began to whisper.
"What's the next plan? What did you say?"
"Stay put. Sirius will follow his original plan, because before we intervened, the only ones on the chessboard were Sirius and Peter Pettigrew, plus Karkaroff who was outside the chessboard. Peter Pettigrew can't escape. The current goal is to pull Karkaroff in."
"The probability of this is not high, but it's not impossible, but if we interfere with this plan, then Karkaroff will almost certainly not take the bait," Dumbledore explained.
"...Why don't we just send a super awesome person to find Karkaroff and then..." Kayson said, one hand vaguely holding something in front of his chest, the other hand like holding a rope, casually wrapping it twice, then both hands gripped tightly, gradually pulling the imaginary rope taut.
"...Then where do we find such a person?" Snape asked.
Kayson patted his chest.
"You?" Dumbledore expressed doubt.
"Oh, you know Alchemy," Kayson said, spreading his hands.
"Please give me gifts, you know."
