"Damn it…!" Goku cursed in his head, sweat pouring down his face as the pressure doubled. The side effects of Kaio-ken were tearing through his body, every muscle screaming in pain while his energy kept dropping.
He couldn't believe it. How is this guy so strong?! Even at ten times Kaio-ken, I'm getting crushed…!
This fight felt harder than even when he first clashed with Beerus. In fact, the pressure from Bardock was far greater.
"Where are you looking, Kakarot?" Bardock's voice came from behind. In an instant, he appeared behind Goku and slammed a brutal strike into his back.
"Gaaahhh!!!" Goku's eyes went wide, blood spraying from his mouth as his gi tore apart. His body shot down like a cannonball and smashed into the ground, leaving a massive crater.
Bardock floated above, frowning. "Tch… guess I went too hard that time. If he goes down this easy, there's no point in the fight."
From inside the crater, Goku struggled up, coughing blood. Kaio-ken's aura flickered and finally died down, leaving him pale and drained.
"Haa…haa… I didn't even see him move…" Goku muttered, his confidence shaken. Am I really this weak?
He clenched his fists. If I had finished Black off with Kaio-ken earlier… maybe I wouldn't be in this mess now…
Bardock landed a short distance away, arms crossed. "Well, Kakarot? Got a plan, or are you done already?"
The two locked eyes — father and son — though Goku had no idea who he was truly fighting.
Goku's chest heaved, his body a wreck from Kaio-ken's backlash. Still, he roared: "Don't look down on me!!! I'm not done yet!!!"
Blue flames of divine ki erupted again as he forced himself back into Super Saiyan Blue, aura blazing like fire. His power spiked, climbing higher than before.
Bardock raised a brow. "Hmph. Your ki rose a little, but… that won't change anything."
Goku grit his teeth. The scarlet glow of Kaio-ken began to burn again over his blue aura.
"Tch, back to the same trick again? You already pushed your body with ten times Kaio-ken. Do you really think you can handle more?" Bardock mocked.
"You talk too much!!!" Goku roared. His aura exploded, scarlet lightning tearing the sky apart. The earth itself split open under the pressure of his godly ki. Stones levitated into the air before shattering into dust.
Even Bardock's expression grew serious. This kid… he's really pushing past his limits.
Vegeta, watching from the sidelines, clenched his fists. "Kakarot… are you insane?! At this rate, your body will explode before the fight's over…"
Back at Capsule Corp, everyone stared wide-eyed at the screen showing the battle.
"Uncle Goku's power… it's unreal…" Trunks whispered.
Even Beerus frowned. "Hmph. That mortal's power… it's pushing close to a God of Destruction. Ridiculous…"
Whis shook his head softly. "Goku-san… you're taking this too far. Your body wasn't built to sustain this for long."
On the battlefield, Goku's aura erupted to new heights. His body shook violently as his ki ripped the sky apart.
"Twenty times Kaio-ken!!!" he screamed, his power surging past its limit.
The scarlet flames consumed his blue aura, lightning snapping all around him. His body twisted under the strain, veins bulging, but his energy reached terrifying levels.
He blurred forward — faster than light — and threw a punch straight at Bardock. The impact cracked the air itself.
Bardock blocked and countered instantly. "Not bad… but let's see how long you last!"
The two Saiyans clashed in midair, blow after blow shaking the entire battlefield. Explosions rocked the sky as shockwaves split the earth apart.
Their speed was beyond sight — only streaks of red and blue light smashing into each other.
Goku pushed himself harder, adapting mid-battle like only a Saiyan could. His fists flowed on instinct, striking with near-perfect timing.
Bardock smirked, finally feeling pressure. "Heh… you're better than I thought, Kakarot. Show me more!"
The father and son clashed again and again, fists and ki shaking the heavens — their battle reaching its peak.
weird "Chinese-English" style and gave it the DB vibe. Here's the rewrite:
"Ki Cannon!!!"
Goku slammed his palms together and fired a massive blast straight at Bardock. The explosion tore through the sky at point-blank range, shaking Bardock's whole body before knocking him down from the air.
Bardock flipped in midair and landed smoothly, his arms stinging. He smirked.
"Not bad, Kakarot. That one actually hurt."
Goku, panting heavily, knew this was far from enough. His Kaio-ken x20 was eating away at his body.
Dammit… even with Blue plus Kaio-ken, I still can't put him down…!
Bardock narrowed his eyes. "Can your body really handle Kaio-ken like this? Don't collapse too quickly, Kakarot. The fight just got interesting."
He bent his knees, ready to launch himself again. But just as Bardock prepared to attack, Goku's body gave out.
The backlash hit all at once. Goku's muscles twitched violently, blood burst from his skin, and scarlet lightning snapped around him.
"Kaio-ken x20… it's still too much for me." Goku gritted his teeth, forcing his godly ki to hold his body together. "My stamina's not enough… but I'm not done yet!"
He roared, pushing his battered body beyond its limits again, and charged straight at Bardock.
Bardock's eyes widened. "This fool… even in that condition, he still comes at me head-on."
The two clashed again, shockwaves ripping across the battlefield. Cities far away shook, people looked to the sky in fear, praying as the heavens thundered.
But Goku's reckless attacks left him wide open.
Bardock's figure blurred. In an instant, he appeared right in front of Goku. His fist connected cleanly with Goku's face.
"GAAAHH!!!" Blood sprayed as Goku's head snapped back, his body sent flying hundreds of meters before he crashed into the ground.
Kaio-ken's backlash finally detonated. Dark blood gushed from his mouth as his energy plummeted. His Super Saiyan Blue aura flickered, barely holding.
From the sidelines, Vegeta's eyes widened. "Kakarot! You've hit your limit already?!"
Goku's body trembled. His ki had collapsed almost completely.
The battle seemed finished.
Vegeta clenched his fists and rushed forward. "Dammit… I won't let this end here!"
He landed beside Goku, glaring at Bardock. "Earth is my home too. Even if I die, I'll stand and fight!"
Goku coughed, forcing a smile. "I'm fine… but we can't win like this. His power's on another level… even if we fight together, it won't be enough."
Vegeta pulled something from his armor. "Shut up and eat this."
Goku blinked. "A… Senzu Bean?! But I thought we ran out in the future world?"
"Hmph. The Supreme Kai gave me one when we came back. Said I might need it. I didn't think it'd be useful, but… here we are. Now hurry up!" Vegeta barked.
Goku swallowed it in one bite. Instantly, his body healed, his energy surged back to full. He stood tall again, aura blazing. "Hahhh! That's better. Thanks, Vegeta."
Bardock descended slowly, arms crossed. "So, you've recovered. And you brought backup." His grin widened. "Good. Two-on-one makes it more fun."
Vegeta powered up into Super Saiyan Blue, his aura exploding around him. "Careful, Kakarot. One wrong move against this guy and you'll be ripped apart."
"Yeah," Goku nodded, eyes serious. "Don't underestimate him."
Bardock smirked. "It doesn't matter if you're two or twenty. You'll still lose."
Vegeta growled, ready to charge, but Goku held him back. "Wait, Vegeta. He's right. Even if we fight together, we don't stand a chance. We need something else."
"Tch… what else?!" Vegeta snapped.
Goku's expression hardened. "Fusion."
Vegeta froze. "Fusion…? Don't tell me you mean that stupid dance from Metamor!"
Memories of their ridiculous poses in the underworld flashed in Vegeta's mind. His face twisted in disgust.
"Hell no, Kakarot! Don't think for a second I'll humiliate myself like that again!"
"This isn't about pride!" Goku shot back. "We don't have Potara earrings. Without fusion, we're done! You can say no, Vegeta—but if you do, everyone dies. Even Bulma."
At Bulma's name, Vegeta's face darkened. His fists trembled.
"…Damn you, Kakarot…" He glared at Goku. After a long silence, he spat out: "Fine. We'll do it. But listen—this is the last time! After this, don't you dare bring up fusion again!"
Goku grinned. "Heh. Works for me."
Both Saiyans turned to face Bardock.
From above, Bardock tilted his head, watching with curiosity. "Fusion, huh? This should be interesting…"
His grin widened. "Show me, then. Show me the power of the strongest fusion warrior."
