"Do you know that if you use Bat Blood to draw a Reincarnation Circle on a full moon, it could potentially turn you into a vampire?"
Her rapid-fire questions stumped all the men.
How would they know? What Wanda was asking about was all content from high-level magic books. They couldn't even read a single word from those books, let alone an entire thick stack of them, each one as thick as a forearm when stood on end.
Seeing the bewildered expressions on the men's faces, Wanda shook her head helplessly and went back to reading, leaving behind a single sentence.
"You don't know anything and you still try to flirt with me. Do you think this is still middle or high school?"
Her words made all the men who were planning to flirt with her feel scorned, suddenly feeling like they were back in school.
After this incident spread throughout Kamar-Taj, Wanda not only wasn't snubbed, but her popularity increased even more.
Wanda's lack of interest in being pursued gave her an air of aloofness, a certain distance that kept people at bay. However, this only applied to matters between the sexes. If someone came to her with questions about magic, she was surprisingly patient and willing to explain.
Her explanations were not only easy to understand but also delivered with great patience, which gradually increased Wanda's popularity.
Many magic apprentices, unable to constantly bother the Ancient One with questions, began to pester Wanda instead. In terms of status, she was still just a magic apprentice, not much different from them.
Unbeknownst to her, Wanda was subtly becoming the "Senior Sister" figure.

He glanced back at the ground, looking through the house at Wanda inside. Then, he shook his head and said, "No, it's better if I don't appear right now. I'd just disturb her. She finally has a chance to focus on her cultivation. My presence would probably unsettle her state of mind, wouldn't it?"
Hearing Han Yu's words, it was Ancient One who was surprised. She had sensed him the moment he arrived. She wouldn't have come out so casually for just anyone, but for Han Yu, she had to.
Her purpose in coming out was to intercept Han Yu. After all, with magic, one could easily become a victim of inner demons and fall into the dark side if their mind wasn't clear.
If Wanda were practicing some low- or mid-level magic, Ancient One wouldn't be worried. But she was now working with high-level spell books and needed to be completely focused. Otherwise, the Sorcerer Supreme wouldn't appear, but the Demon Sorcerer would.
So, when she saw Han Yu and heard his words, Ancient One was prepared to persuade him not to meet her, but he already understood. This saved her a lot of trouble.
"Alright, I'm leaving."
Han Yu stared at Wanda for a few more seconds, finally deciding to look away. He said a word to Ancient One and then departed.
Ancient One looked at the departing Han Yu, then at Wanda, who was diligently practicing on the ground. She couldn't help but sigh softly. Both sides cared so much for each other.
She landed on the ground and entered the library. Looking at Wanda, who was surrounded by everyone, she opened her mouth, wanting to tell her that Han Yu had been here, but couldn't bring herself to speak.
Not far away, Wanda noticed Ancient One. She glanced at her first, then suddenly raised her head and looked through the ceiling at the position where Han Yu had just been standing. She then lowered her head and looked at Ancient One, nodding slightly at her.
Her lips slowly curled up, revealing a captivating smile. She spoke in a voice that almost only she could hear, "Han, don't worry, I won't let you down."
Because of Wanda, there were quite a few more male magic apprentices in the library, and there were also many women who came because of Wanda.
After they saw Wanda's smile, which made everyone's heart flutter, they suddenly felt that they could no longer pursue her.
This smile didn't seem to be because she saw something funny in a book; it was more like the smile one would have when facing their beloved.
The hearts of everyone present, regardless of gender, felt utterly chilled.
