The projector inventor and the other long-term lab residents all looked awkward again. They'd finally started talking about serious stuff—how did the conversation suddenly go off the rails? This wasn't right!
"Um, why don't you just tell us directly—this battle armor, how would you solve the energy problem for giant battle armor? From my understanding, giant battle armor would consume even more energy than regular battle armor. After all, when it moves around, it'd use even more power than a battle vehicle."
One of the researchers changed the subject. "Would you put a bunch of energy storage runes inside the giant battle armor?"
"But energy storage runes themselves represent weight. The more storage runes you have, the more energy you consume when moving. It feels... it feels kind of like a losing proposition."
