Natasha tossed Pierce aside and moved to the computer terminal beside the large screen. As she typed, encrypted files appeared on the screen, gradually being decrypted.
"You're essentially revealing Hydra by exposing yourselves,"
Meng Ran said, observing the files being unlocked. "A lot of these are government-classified files, meant to remain secret from the public, right?"
Fury sighed. "We have no choice. To expose Hydra, this is the only way."
"One reason is the sheer volume of files—it's impossible to sort them manually."
"And another reason is how entangled Hydra has been with S.H.I.E.L.D. Some files can't be clearly separated between the two."
Hearing Fury's explanation, Meng Ran nodded, finally understanding. "Ah, that's why."
"But if it's due to the first reason, I think I can help."
"Really?" Fury asked, a bit surprised.
Natasha, still focused on decrypting files, paused and blinked her big eyes at him.
"Of course," Meng Ran said, snapping his fingers. "Xiao Bai, take over this system."
"Understood!"
Within ten seconds, Xiao Bai confirmed via the office speakers, "System fully taken over!"
Meng Ran nodded and continued, "Filter all files—separate Hydra from S.H.I.E.L.D. If a file can't be determined, place it under S.H.I.E.L.D. and categorize it into a separate folder."
"Understood! Filtering files now!" Xiao Bai's voice rang out, and the office screen began rapidly unlocking and sorting the files.
Meng Ran turned to Fury and Natasha. "Shouldn't take more than a few minutes for all files to be categorized. As for the ambiguous ones, you can decide later whether to release them."
Fury and Natasha were momentarily speechless as they watched the AI work at lightning speed.
After a short silence, Natasha said to Meng Ran, "Thank you."
Meng Ran understood she was grateful for protecting her identity and past. Without Xiao Bai's help, she might have had to release all her information along with Hydra's files.
"I also truly appreciate it, Ghost," Fury said solemnly.
Though S.H.I.E.L.D. was destined to become history, it had been his life's work. Releasing everything without distinction would have exposed not only Hydra but also normal S.H.I.E.L.D. agents—unfair to them.
Natasha, hearing Fury thank Meng Ran, was initially surprised but teased, "It's a shame this moment wasn't recorded. Fury saying 'thank you' is rarer than getting Rogers to lighten up."
Meng Ran chuckled at Natasha's comment, recalling Fury's earlier dry humor.
Seeing them joke, Fury rolled his eyes and muttered, "Oh God, can we not? I'm rare enough like this, and now it's awkward."
Meng Ran smiled and remembered the Hydra agent list he had found in Pierce's memory.
He said to Fury, "By the way, through Pierce, I now know the names of Hydra agents. I've written them down for you. How you handle it is up to you—I won't interfere."
Meng Ran found paper and pen in the office and meticulously recorded every name Pierce remembered, including their current positions and identities.
After two full pages, he handed the list to Fury.

At that thought, the two sheets of paper in Fury's hands suddenly felt extremely heavy.
He wasn't just holding paper—he held the key to influencing U.S. politics and even the nation's future.
