I was sleeping in a comfortable huge bed in a huge room decorated in my favorite colors blue and purple and posters of kpop groups and anime everywhere. What else would you expect from two wealthy surgeons only child.
"KHLOE, wake up, you're going to be late for school" my mom says
I snug myself into the blanket with half opened eyes
"Five more minutes" I whisper to her
"Remember today is your first day at the new school" my mom added'"
"I totally forgot" I jumped out of bed and went straight to the bathroom, have you ever multitasked brushing teeth, showering, and using the toilet, its weirder than its sounds. I then threw on the first clothes my eyes landed on in the closet and ran downstairs
"You can't go to school dressed like that, you have to give a good first impression, what will the other kids think" my mom worriedly said
"I don't care what they think but I have to go"
"Wait today is my only free in the rest of the month and I spent the entire morning preparing breakfast for you" my mom pointed to a huge pile of food well organized on the long dinner table.
"I'm not hungry and I'm going to be late" I answered
"Well let me at least drive you to school" she looked through her bag trying to find her keys.
I crossed my hands "Mom, I've been taking myself to school alone since I was little, you don't have to feel guilty or anything I know your very busy all year through but just enjoy your day off, I can take care of myself"
"But what else would I rather do than spend some little time with you, just let me drive you sweetheart" she held my hand
"Fine lets go" I smiled
We entered the garage and left for my school in my mom's car, We reached the school when the lessons have just started
"I'm late" I gasped and got out of the car and pulled out my bike from the car boot"
"Why did you bring that" my mom asked
"You'll see" I ran towards the school entrance
"Okay bye honey" my mom drove away
I entered the school while gazing upon the nice-looking buildings and the wide compound, inside was a long wide hallway with lockers on the sides, I looked around and entered the office with the principle's name above it. The principle was a skinny man wearing glasses and a mustache, he was signing some documents,
"Excuse me sir" I coughed
"Oh, you must be Khloe Hunter" he said
"Umm, yes sir" I answered
"You're a bit late though but I'll let it slide since it's your first day" he hands me a chit "Go to the second class on your right
"Thanks sir," I grab the chit and get out, I walk to into the class and hand the chit to the teacher
"Okay guys, we have a new student here" a female teacher introduces me
(Students mummering)
"Quiet down, Quiet down, SHUT UP" the teachers snaps
Class silent, "Why don't you introduce yourself" the teacher requests
" My name is Khloe Hunter and it's nice to meet you guys"
(Students mummer again) the teacher sighs
"Why is her fashion sense so horrible, she looks like she got that shirt from the dump" a random male student comments
"Sorry but I don't get clothes from your home" I reply
"Oooooh" Students exaggerate
"Well since the both of you roasted each other I guess it's fair now, Khloe go sit on the empty sit there" Teacher said.
As I walk towards my sit I get tripped by a boy's leg and fall flat on the floor
(Students' laughter)
"Oops I did mean that are you okay" he smirks at me and offers me his hand up
I growl and push his hand away and help myself up and sit on my chair
"Sorry about him he is a dumb jerk, you okay" the boy sitted behind me asks
"Yeah am fine, thanks" I smile to him
" My name is Daniel" offers his hand for a handshake
"I'm Khloe" I shake his hand
"Nice to meet you Khloe"
(After lessons)
I collected my books placed them in my bag and got out of the class; I happened to notice a bunch of girls picking on a short, cute girl with two ponytails.
"Please just give me my bag" the girl asks stressfully
"Poor little Katty, what's wrong are you too short to reach it" the leader of the gang puts it higher
I couldn't watch that, so I went to her and pulled the girl's bag from her
"You shouldn't bully people because of their appearances, you're not that perfect too" I bravely stood up to her
"Are you talking to me, how comes I've never seen you, you must be new, who do you think you are to stand up to me" she looks at me from head to toe
"I'm Khloe Hunter" I confidently answer
"Your feisty, I like that, I'll deal with you later" she takes a strand of my hair behind my ear.
She walks away with her gang of followers; I stare at her till she fades away
"That was the bravest thing I have ever seen in my life you're like my new favorite superhero" the girl who was bullied said
"Thanks, you okay" I ask
"I'm fine thanks to you, I'm Katty by the way"
"I'm Khloe so who was that anyway" I ask
"The Queen bee of the school, most popular too, Tara Sinclaire, she thinks she rules the world or something, so its best you don't get on her bad side"
"Well, I guess it's too late for me then, she must hate me now" I giggle
The boy who made me trip in class comes forward with Daniel in front of him. Daniel looks at me and smiles and waves, I smile back to him and wave, then the boy who made me trip passes by next and smirks and gives me a cheeky wink, I feel my temperature rise from anger give a silent growl.
"Poor Daniel, I bet that jerk is forcing him to walk with him so that he can force him to do his homework" I angrily stated
"Who, Jayden he's Daniel's brother" Katty answers me
I felt the world spin backwards for some moments, I couldn't believe my ears
"Those two are brothers, but how" I yelled
