locutor_issac presents...Invading Monsters…

A raging storm struck a small island, tearing it apart and flooding it, while animals clung desperately to life. But as this chaos unfolded, something unknown stepped onto the island.

A group of soldiers ventured through the jungle, searching for a man hiding deep inside a bunker beneath the dense forest.

The fugitive was a former scientist named Mateus, a clone of Mat, a renowned scientist long dead. The reason they hunted him was for treason—but that was all they knew about him… or so it seemed.

As the squad advanced through the jungle, they found it filled with corpses everywhere. Even the wildlife was dead from the constant floods. Some trees were uprooted and broken, making the team suspect that something enormous had caused it… but they pressed on anyway.

Along the way, the sergeant ordered them to prepare the teleportation capsule—they also wanted the bunker's technology, now claimed by the Empire. One of the soldiers carried the capsule and handed it to the sergeant.

After hours of trekking, they finally reached the bunker's entrance. Relief spread through the group—alive and intact. But just before opening the door, one soldier felt like someone was watching him. He ignored it and continued the mission.

A soldier planted a bomb, and with the order given, the countdown began:

One… two… three!

¡BOOM!

The explosion was deafening, catching the attention of unknown creatures in the distance. They didn't care. They entered the bunker, searching carefully through the rooms—but nothing seemed out of place. To save time, one soldier decided to move ahead, when suddenly another, trembling in fear, whispered that something was touching his back. Slowly… he turned around—and froze in horror.

The sergeant was being devoured by a three-meter-tall humanoid creature, its razor-sharp teeth dripping with blood. The soldiers panicked and opened fire, but more of those things appeared. The dying sergeant threw the teleporter to one of his men and, with his final breath, ordered him to find the target.

The soldier ran as fast as he could to the lab and sealed himself inside. But peace didn't last long. Through the window, he watched in terror as his comrades were torn apart, powerless to stop it. Trembling, clutching his chest, he cried out:

—Shit! Shit! Why did I agree to come here?! Oh God! —he sobbed.

Determined to end it and go home, he stood up. But just as he thought he was safe, someone aimed a gun at his back. He froze—then turned and saw the target they had been hunting all along.

Without hesitation, he struck first, dodging bullets and aiming at Mateus. But the scientist was faster; he dodged every shot and pulled out an atomic weapon, pointing it straight at the soldier. Knowing his fate, the soldier begged for mercy. Mateus replied coldly:

—No, little lamb… soon you'll dance in the fields. Hahahahaha…

With that, he fired—leaving only the soldier's legs behind as the rest of his body disintegrated. Calm again, Mateus prepared to escape in a capsule containing a frozen human.

As he readied for launch, a shot struck his arm, sending him to the floor. Furious, he turned to see who it was—it was the sergeant, somehow still alive, with a hole in his stomach and adrenaline pumping through his veins. He approached slowly, realizing capturing Mateus wasn't worth it anymore.

—It's time to pay for your crimes, Mateus.

—Hehe, alright then… but before that, how about we invite a friend?

Mateus clapped his hands—and the sound triggered a cell door to open, releasing a demon. Without hesitation, the demon lunged toward them. The sergeant, horrified, demanded to know how Mateus had one of those creatures. Mateus smirked and said if he died, everyone in the room would too.

The demon, bored of the chatter, devoured the sergeant's soul, leaving him dead with eyes pitch black and empty.

Smiling, Mateus ordered the demon back to its cell—but instead, it grabbed him, slammed him against the wall, and devoured him alive.

Only screams and cries of agony echoed through the dark corridors.

To be continued…
