Less than an hour passed from the moment that Julio and I returned from New York. Immediately, I had been greeted with the news that made my blood turn to lava. A part of me assumed almost immediately that someone had attacked Stephanie in the banquet, but never had I thought that she would be betrayed by someone within my estate.
I stormed through the long corridor, my eyes on Andrea and Buzo who stood at the end of it. Andrea stepped forward, his hands raised in an attempt to stop me or calm me down. Not that anything he tried now would have worked on me right now.
"Where is she?" I demanded with a loud growl in my voice. "Where is my wife?!"
"She's in Gabriele's clinic," Julio told me.
My hands curled into fists. "How's she? Is she all right?"
"She's fine. She didn't drink any poison," Buzo told me. "Only Alessandra took a sip. I was the one who took Alessandra and Mrs Giacomo to the clinic."
