Just as Kyle said, after learning that Hagrid had been ambushed, he went to the Room of Requirement and put the two man-eating cabbages into the mokeskin pouch.
This skin bag was a Christmas gift from Newt last year; it was a modified version, the kind that, like the box, could hold magical creatures, so plants were no problem either.
It was just a little too small.
When he was escaping earlier, Kyle had already secretly put them in the bushes nearby, originally intending to set a trap for the witch, but unexpectedly, it ended up being used on Oren.
It was an unexpected bonus, I suppose.
On the other side, Oren was rolling on the ground in a sorry state. His legs were immobilized, and he could only use this method to avoid the two mad dog-like man-eating cabbages.
At the same time, he also had to deal with Kyle's continuous Disarming Charm and Stunning Charm.
"Damn it!"
After Oren blocked another Disarming Charm, the infernal man-eating cabbage took a bite of him, before he finally cast his first spell.
"Incendio!"
Although using a fire charm would reveal his location, Oren couldn't care less at this moment.
Crimson flames erupted from his wand, charring the surfaces of the two biting cabbages until they quickly went still.
"I admit, I underestimated you."
Oren sat on a platform formed from fallen leaves, his eyes devoid of emotion. He raised his hand, and a large number of leaves transformed into sharp blades, whistling towards Kyle.
"Expulso!" Kyle pointed his wand at the ground.
A violent explosion followed, followed by a cloud of smoke and dust.
"Blocking my view?" Oren sneered, "Not a bad idea, but where can you hide?"
Blades rained down into the dust, and under such a dense area-of-effect attack, he didn't even need to know Kyle's location.
Oren's lips curled into a slight smile: "The end..."
"Stupefy!"
A voice suddenly came from behind, and Oren's heart tightened. He recognized it—it was Kyle's voice.
But how could this be? Why was Kyle behind him?!
Oren roared inwardly, but it was too late to turn around.
"Bang!"
With a dull thud, a green creature appeared behind Oren like an open umbrella, shielding him from the almost certain stun spell.
Kyle felt a sweetness in his chest, and, suppressing his discomfort, gritted his teeth and said, "The Winged Debil... it didn't chase after Kanna!"
"Heh, who told you it chased after that little girl?" Oren turned his head and said playfully, "I just wanted you to guess where it was."
"First it bit the man-eating cabbage, and then used Apparition in battle... I must say, you really gave me too many surprises today, Kyle!"
"Compared to you, my first year was a complete waste of time. As a reward, I've decided to spare your life. You can go now..."
"Spare my life..." Kyle laughed, "Do you think you can kill me?"
Oren didn't speak. He couldn't say before, but now he certainly couldn't kill Kyle so easily.
Although continuing to fight wasn't impossible, the Ministry of Magic was about to arrive, and he didn't have much time left.
But Oren didn't want to leave like this.
He failed to kill an eleven-year-old wizard and was instead forced to retreat? If this got out, his reputation would be completely ruined.
"You're really not leaving?"
"I can't." Kyle shrugged, toying with the Billywig bug that had just landed on his shoulder.
Five minutes ago, he would have turned and run without a second thought, but now it was different; he couldn't swallow this insult.
Threatened, tricked, and mocked… he'd never suffered such a loss in his life. He wouldn't be at peace until he got his revenge.
Besides, he wasn't the one in a hurry now; this was the Forbidden Forest…
"You're asking for it!" Oren's lips twitched wildly. That Billywig bug was the one he'd thrown away earlier!
Oren raised his wand, a green light gathering at the tip. "Avada Kedavra…"
"Whoosh!"
An arrow whistled through the air, and Oren had to retract his wand to avoid having his arm pierced.
"Clopp, clopp, clopp..."
The sound of rapid hoofbeats approached from afar, and a group of centaurs emerged from the bushes, longbows in hand, their sharp arrows aimed at Kyle and Oren.
Oren was the main target, as one of the centaurs recognized Kyle.
Firenze cautiously stepped forward. "You're a student from that castle. What are you doing here? And who is he?"
"A dark wizard!"
Kyle blurted out. "He's the one who stole the unicorn cub, and he even used the Unforgivable Curse!"
The next second, all the centaurs' arrows were aimed at Oren.
At the same time, a series of explosions began to rang out around them.
The Ministry of Magic had arrived.
"You're lucky!" Oren suddenly laughed. "Alright, I concede."
He tossed a cloth bag to Kyle; inside was the unicorn cub. The golden little unicorn lay curled up quietly, seemingly asleep.
"It's you!" An Auror stepped forward, gritting his teeth. "Oren Morris!"
He was the Auror captain who had tried to arrest Hagrid.
"We meet again, brave and kind Auror."
Oren smiled. "You had a chance to catch me last time, but you didn't. I'm grateful you let me go… Oh, sorry, I forgot you fools only know about Winged Devils and didn't even know who I am.
Well then, thank you, brave striker."
"You won't get away this time!"
Harder pointed his wand at Oren and said in a deep voice, "I'll personally send you to Azkaban. I wonder if you'll still be able to smile when you face Dementors."
"Sorry, I don't like Dementors. Can I not go?"
Oren sighed. "If possible, I'd rather stay at Hogwarts. Being a Defense Against the Dark Arts professor is quite interesting."
"That's not up to you!"
Harder waved his hand, and all the Aurors simultaneously raised their wands.
"Stupefy!"
"Expelliarmus!"
"Petrificus Totalus!"

A dozen spells flew towards Oren from all directions.
"What a pity, I haven't graded the exam yet..."
Oren sighed again, and the platform made of fallen leaves beneath him instantly collapsed.
Without support, Oren's body began to fall, which allowed him to evade all the spells.
The next second...
"Crack!"
A familiar snap echoed through the Forbidden Forest, and Oren's figure vanished.
