"F***k… these two are both monsters."
Tony Stark slumped against a wall, breathing heavily.
Whether it was sheer luck or something else, Tony had somehow survived the devastating clash between the two Allens. He felt a grim sense of relief that he was still alive — but also awe and fear at the overwhelming power displayed by Allens and Captain Marvel.
"Friday, has my delivery arrived yet?"
Tony pressed his hand against the metal frame of his glasses. A stream of holographic data appeared before his eyes as he spoke in a weary tone.
"Boss, the Mark 46 armor is on its way. Estimated arrival time: ten seconds," Friday's cold mechanical voice replied.
Her voice made Tony sigh. He couldn't help but miss J.A.R.V.I.S — the AI that once spoke with warmth and emotion. If J.A.R.V.I.S were still around, he would probably be offering Tony some dry humor and encouragement right now.
Whoosh!
A dark-golden Iron Man suit streaked across the sky, locking onto Tony's coordinates. It disassembled midair and reassembled around him, piece by piece, until Tony was once again encased in armor.
"Phew… well done, Friday. You were just in time. Any later, and your boss would've been a corpse."
A tired smile appeared on Tony's face. The armor was his only true sense of security.
"Boss, would you like to activate battle mode?" Friday asked, her tone still icy.
Tony sighed again. "Man… I really do miss J.A.R.V.I.S."
"Hey, Friday, if you want to change masters, be my guest. Start battle mode. But whoever those two are— they're monsters."
He wasn't planning to fight. He just wanted protection from the chaos around him. Since his defeat, Tony had lost much of his fighting spirit.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Above New York City, Allens and Captain Marvel — Carol Danvers — clashed again and again. Each punch caused explosions that lit up the sky.
Swish!
Allens appeared behind Carol, his hands curled like claws. With a slash through the air, ten visible ripples tore through space toward her.
Boom!
A shockwave erupted. Carol's body was thrown backward, blood spraying from her wounds.
"Ah— damn… what a terrifying vibration," she gritted out, wiping blood from her lip.
Seeing Allens charging at her, Carol crossed her arms in front of her chest. Golden energy flared from her body, forming a shield-like barrier.
Boom!
Allens' kick landed, sending her crashing straight into the ground.
"Ms. Danvers," Allens said coldly as he descended, "your strength disappoints me."
His expression was filled with disdain. He had expected Carol to at least wound him — but she hadn't come close.
"The battle's over, Captain Marvel."
A glint of icy light flickered in his eyes. His Super Strength, Psychokinesis, Vibration Power, and Absorption Ability all surged at once.
Allens' right arm transformed into solid Uru metal, glowing faintly with divine energy. The power of Thor's lightning coursed through it, amplifying his strength severalfold. Veins of silver-white energy bulged under his skin.
Crack!
He clenched his fist, and the air around him distorted. Cyclones spiraled around his arm as energy built to a critical point.
"Psychokinesis—Blessing."
Invisible energy coated his fist, making it feel as heavy as Mjolnir itself.
"Phew… New York, let's shake things up. Earthquake!"
Allens slammed his fist into empty space. Transparent shockwaves rippled outward, and reality itself cracked.
BOOM!
A massive burst of vibration energy exploded beneath his feet. The ground trembled violently, then fell silent for a brief, eerie moment.
"Warning! Warning! Groundquake energy levels surging — 100%... 200%... 1000%!" Friday's alarms screamed inside Tony's suit.
Tony's eyes widened. "What the hell? Energy readings are off the charts!" He rocketed upward to escape.
Carol's instincts flared. "The ground's energy… it's skyrocketing!"
RUMBLE!
The earth split open. Massive cracks tore through the streets of New York, spreading outward from where Allens stood. Buildings collapsed, roads shattered, and the ground buckled like waves on an ocean.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
From high above, Tony Stark watched in horror as New York City was torn apart. The once-great skyline crumbled to dust. A colossal fissure opened in the center, splitting the city in half.
"F***k… New York City is done for," Tony muttered in disbelief.
Below, Carol was hurled hundreds of meters through the air by the overwhelming vibrations. Even her superhuman body couldn't withstand the force. Her chest caved in slightly, ribs cracking, blood spilling from her mouth.
