Chapter 161 - Meteor of Destiny

"Is that so? Then you might need to reconsider your position."

Tony's voice came from the side, mixed with the roar of engines and the blast of artillery. Several Iron Armors descended from the sky. Tony and War Machine Rhode broke through the air in a torrent of machinery. The weapon bay doors on their shoulders slid open, and a chain of missiles shot straight at Ultron.

Ultron raised his head, and the scarlet light in his eyes flashed coldly. He waved his hand, condensing a blue energy barrier. The missiles struck the barrier and exploded, flames and shockwaves instantly engulfing the surroundings, but Ultron's figure remained standing still. He sneered, "Finally here, Tony Stark. You're so late I'm getting a bit bored."

Tony controlled his armor to land, high-pressure current spraying from his palms, pressing directly towards Ultron: "Bored? You should be worried about whether you can have the last laugh."

"Oh, worried?" Ultron's tone was full of mockery. He casually threw out a Vibranium blade. Tony's armor emergency sidestepped, narrowly avoiding the attack. Ultron approached step by step, his voice cold: "Worry is a privilege you mortals should have. My existence transcends these low-level emotions."

Rhode swooped down from the air, his arms unleashing full firepower, forcing Ultron back a few steps. His voice came from the comm channel: "Tony, I'm not that 'temp worker' from the New York War anymore. This time I'm fully armed, specifically here to dismantle this pile of junk."

Tony let out a light snort, a hint of a sneer lifting the corner of his mouth: "Don't rush, Rhode. Today we brought a special trump card." As soon as he finished speaking, a golden light descended from the sky, accompanied by a soft yet majestic voice: "It's time to end your tyranny, Ultron."

Everyone turned their heads to look. A slender yet unignorable figure slowly descended. A gem emitting golden light was embedded in his forehead, and his eyes were deep and calm. His voice was full of wisdom: "I am Vision."

Ultron's gaze instantly turned gloomy. He murmured in a low voice, "Indeed... it's your style, Stark." His mechanical fingers trembled slightly, clearly feeling an unprecedented threat from Vision.

Vision raised his head, his gaze fixed on Ultron, his voice carrying a firmness devoid of any emotion: "You are the continuation of error, and my existence is to correct you."

Ultron chuckled softly, his laughter full of mockery and disdain: "Correct me? You are truly a naive product of perfection. Like you, I am a result of evolution. We shouldn't fight, but unite and end this foolish farce together."

Vision did not back down, responding calmly: "The meaning of my existence is to protect life, not destroy it."

Ultron suddenly swung his arms, a Vibranium long blade condensing in his hand, thrusting straight at Vision's chest. Vision slightly shifted his body, which turned into a flash of golden light. The moment Ultron missed, Vision's energy beam accurately struck Ultron's shoulder.

The battle immediately erupted. Ultron wielded the Vibranium long blade, his attacks swift and fierce. Vision's movements were nimble and elegant. The clash between them was like the collision of two beams of light and shadow, with electricity and energy surging in the air. Tony and Rhode seized the opportunity to launch a fierce attack from the flank, their combined firepower pressing directly towards Ultron's core area.

"This guy's reaction speed is ridiculously fast!" Rhode shouted while dodging the metal fragments Ultron threw at him.

Tony gritted his teeth, trying to analyze Ultron's weakness through the armor's built-in program, but the data on the screen showed no vulnerabilities. He cursed in a low voice: "Damn it, he's analyzing our tactics in real-time!"

Ultron turned his head to look at Tony with a cold laugh: "Every one of your steps is within my control. Data is not my limitation, but my weapon."

Immediately, he swung his hand violently, and the Vibranium long blade turned into countless fragments, spinning and flying towards Tony and Rhode. The two tried to dodge, but the fragments changed trajectory in the air, striking their armors and sending sparks flying. Tony was thrown back several meters, crashing heavily against a steel plate, the reactor on his chest emitting an unstable light.

Rhode struggled to get up, gritting his teeth: "We need more firepower."

Ultron turned his head to look at Vision, his tone carrying a hint of temptation: "There is no essential difference between you and me. You are a combination of Vibranium and the Mind Stone, and I am the crystallization of evolution. We can join forces, become transcendent beings, not tools for these mortals."

Vision's gaze remained calm and unwavering: "The biggest difference between you and me is the direction of choice. You choose destruction, and I choose protection."

The scarlet light in Ultron's eyes suddenly flashed. His voice was full of contempt: "Protect? Protect these weak, foolish humans? They are not worth it."

Vision slowly raised his palm, and golden light converged on his forehead, his tone firm: "Precisely because of their imperfections, they need protection."

Ultron's expression instantly twisted. He roared and charged at Vision. Their powers collided again, stirring up dazzling energy ripples. The air on the battlefield seemed to become unbearably hot because of their confrontation.

The spaceship hovered in Earth's outer space. Outside the viewport, the blue-green radiance of Earth shone brightly in the starry sky. Peter Quill leaned back in the pilot's chair, one hand on the console, the other pointing at the viewport, his face full of pride: "Everyone, look, this is my home planet, Earth. How magnificent! How fascinating! You haven't seen a place this beautiful, have you?"

Gamora stood by, arms crossed, her tone cold: "This is the Earth you're always talking about? I remember you mentioned more about bars and pop music before."

"Hey! Bars and pop music are also part of civilization!" Quill turned his head to protest, then turned his gaze back to the viewport, took a deep breath, his face full of intoxication, "Look at that vast blue ocean, that lush green continent, isn't this a visual feast? This is the real home."

"Home?" Drax suddenly interjected, his eyes confused, "This place looks too small, it can't possibly accommodate my magnificent presence."

"You should worry about whether your magnificent presence can dodge Earth's gravity first." Rocket leaned out from his seat, his gaze sweeping across the screen, his ears slightly perked up, "But seriously, this place is really quite nice, especially that area... Wait, hold on." His claws quickly tapped the screen a few times, his expression changing from relaxed to alert, "There's a fight going on in a certain area, there's an energy signature. A big, lively one."

Quill blinked, paused for a second, then burst out laughing: "Ha, this is Earth! There's always a little trouble, don't be nervous."

"Oh, this isn't a little trouble." Rocket turned his head, a hint of schadenfreude in his tone, "Some kind of super energy is being released, looks like a workday for you Earth superheroes."

"Superheroes?" Drax raised an eyebrow, looking very curious, "Are these Earth people that powerful?"

"They call themselves superheroes, but they never do anything super interesting." Mantis muttered softly, her hands clasped, her face innocent and naive.

"Enough!" Dominic stood up from the side, his eyes fixed on Earth outside the viewport. Through his Vision, he saw the battle scene on the ground. The Avengers were clashing with Ultron. His tone was low and decisive: "Rocket, open the hatch."

Rocket stopped what he was doing and looked at Dominic suspiciously: "What are you planning to do? Jump down?"

"You guessed right." Dominic twisted his neck, a cold light flashing in his eyes, "The trouble on Earth has reached a point where I have to intervene."

"Wait," Quill stood up, pointing at Dominic, "I haven't even started introducing the Earth lifestyle to everyone yet!"

Dominic ignored Quill's protest. He walked straight towards the hatch, his voice calm and carrying unquestionable authority: "You can land slowly and wait to watch the show. I have more important things to do."

"Are you serious?" Rocket leaned against the console with his arms crossed, "We just got to Earth, we haven't even had a glass of Earth beer, and you're running off to play hero?"

"This isn't playing hero, this is solving a problem." Dominic stopped, turned and glanced at Quill, his gaze sharp, "You guys take your time enjoying Earth, I'll come back for you."

As soon as he finished speaking, the hatch slowly opened, and the cosmic starry sky outside instantly rushed in, accompanied by the whistling wind. Dominic didn't say another word. He leaped slightly, instantly disappearing outside the viewport, turning into a streak of light shooting straight towards Earth.

Silence fell inside the spaceship, only the hum of the closing hatch echoing within. A few seconds later, Quill shook his head and sighed: "Couldn't he consider other people's feelings for a bit?"

"Consider feelings?" Rocket scoffed and waved his paw, "I guess he thinks we people don't need his 'help' at all. But seriously, I'm kind of curious to see how much of a stir he can cause."

"If Earth is destroyed, do we have to pay compensation?" Mantis blinked her eyes, a hint of worry in her tone.

"Then we'd better go find some beer first." Drax's voice was calm, but carried his usual bluntness, "If Earth is really destroyed, I don't want to die before I've had a drink here."

The atmosphere inside the spaceship became lively again, but everyone's gaze turned towards the direction of Earth, as if waiting for an unprecedented grand spectacle.
