Uchiha Mikoto picked out a new set of clothes for Uzumaki Kushina to wear and said with a smile,

As Kushina laughed, a trace of sadness flickered briefly through her eyes. If Namikaze Minato hadn't died that night, everything might have turned out very differently.
Mikoto didn't notice it—but Naruto did.
He quietly stepped closer and held Kushina's hand.

They shopped from the first floor to the second, then from the second to the third. Clothes were bought one set after another—anything that fit well or looked good was taken.
Carrying things wasn't a problem. Everything went straight into a storage scroll.
After clothes came shoes: winter slippers, summer sandals, shoes for going out, and shinobi sandals for missions.
Mikoto figured that since Kushina was no longer a Jinchūriki, she would probably want to go on missions again.
After all, even when she was a Jinchūriki, Kushina never liked sitting still.
"Enough, enough!"

"We've already bought way too much."

Without another word, Mikoto dragged Kushina back to the first floor to buy bedding.
"Alright, now everything's bought,"

"If we need anything else, we can always come back later."
"Phew… should we head to the seafood market now?"
Kushina asked.
Mikoto's eyes sparkled mischievously.
"What's the rush? Let's rest a bit first. Come—I'll take you somewhere relaxing."
"Where?"
"You'll see."
Walking along a familiar route, Itachi, Sasuke, and Naruto all knew exactly where Mikoto was taking them.
Only Izumi looked confused—she had never been here before.
"Ta-da!"
Mikoto announced cheerfully.
"Welcome to Pansi Cave!"
"Pansi Cave?"
Kushina blinked.
"What kind of place is this?"
"Come on, come on,"
Mikoto said with a grin, pushing her inside.
"I'll make sure you enjoy it."

Mikoto smiled knowingly.
"How was it? Comfortable, right?"
"Mmm. I feel warm and relaxed all over."
"Next time, I'll let you try a foot bath. That's really comfortable too."
They left Akihabara together.
By then, it was already dark.
"Kushina,"
Mikoto said gently,
"Why don't we look at houses another day? It's too dark now—you won't see much. Daytime would be better."

The moment they entered, Mikoto happily pulled Kushina and Izumi upstairs.
