*Chapter 24: The Dark Side*
Mira had no choice but to follow Leo home not that she had a choice either..
They got into the car and this time she could see the roads ,lots of people her eyes clearly looking everywhere excepts leos eyes she just wanted to avoid those tempting eyes.
As the entered the mansion gate Mira was shocked she's been living her for days she even ran away but she never got the time to check out the mansion it was big ,it's even had a garden wait what a garden how come she never noticed..
Leo's eyes gleamed with sadistic pleasure as he would soon reveal his darker side to Mira as the car came to am halt he grabbed her from the car forcefully and dragged her to the basement. He tied her to a chair, the ropes digging deep into her skin. Mira struggled, but Leo's grip was unyielding.
As he searched her body, his fingers brushed against a hidden tattoo on her wrist. His eyes widened in shock as he saw the design - a rose flower entwined with a snake. Leo's mind reeled as he recognized the symbol "god what's with this people and tattoo's"
"Where did you get this?" Leo's voice was low and menacing.
Mira shook her head, tears streaming down her face. "Please, Leo, don't hurt me."
But Leo's expression turned cold, his eyes glinting with a sinister light. "You're just like every one of them lies , deceit," he spat. "Think you can deceive me with your secrets and lies."
Leo's guards looked on, their faces pale with fear. They knew better than to disobey Leo, but they also knew the risks of crossing him. One wrong move, and they'd lose their heads.
"She'll stay here from now on ," Leo ordered, his voice dripping with malice. "No food, no water. Let her rot she's gets way to comfortable."
The guards hesitated, their eyes darting nervously between Leo and Mira. One of them spoke up, his voice barely above a whisper. "Sir, are you sure that's wise? She might..."
Leo's eyes flashed with anger. "You question my orders?" he snarled. "You'll do as I say, or you'll face the consequences so pick wisely."
The guards nodded hastily, their faces white with fear as Leo walked out the guards also followed , her eyes pleading with them to help her. But they knew better than to defy Leo.
As the door slammed shut behind Mira, Leo's expression turned cold and calculating. He would break her, no matter what it took. The rose and snake tattoo haunted him, first a snake bitting its own tail now this...
