*Chapter 16: The Torture Begins*
Mira's eyes were glued to the scene unfolding before her. The girl, strapped to the metal chair tied with thick ropes she could bearly move, mira standing there with a mixture of fear and defiance.
Leo's eyes gleamed with excitement as he began to interrogate and torture her.
"So, tell me, what's your connection to Venom?" Leo asked, his voice low and menacing.
The girl spat in his face, her eyes flashing with hatred. Leo's smile grew wider as he wiped the spit from his face.
"Very well," he said, his voice dripping with malice. "Let's see how long you can keep your secrets."
Mira watched in horror as Leo's men began to torture the girl. The screams echoed through the basement, and Mira felt her stomach churn with nausea. She knew she had to act fast, or risk being trapped in this nightmare forever.
As the torture continued, Mira's mind began to wander. She thought about escape, about finding a way to get out of this basement and away from Leo's twisted games. But every door she saw was locked, every window barred.
The girl's screams grew louder, more desperate. Mira knew she couldn't watch this anymore. She had to do something, anything, to stop this madness.
