Andre's Point of View
Having spent the entire day cooped up in the conference room—twelve exhausting hours of circling the same questions with no real answers—I felt drained to the bone. The heavy air inside that room was starting to suffocate me.
I slipped out through the side exit and stepped into the evening breeze. The cold air bit at my skin, but it was refreshing—grounding. I inhaled deeply, letting the quietness settle over me. I had to link all the pieces together, find a thread, something…
But nothing made sense.
The question that had haunted me all day returned like a punch: **Why does my father want Derrick to marry Elena?**
No matter how many angles I tried to view it from, it didn't fit. Unless… unless something bigger was going on. Something he was hiding.
Maybe it was time to face him.
