Angelo kept begging, holding Daniel's hands and trying to plead his case, which only made Daniel more uncomfortable.
"Boy, know your place. Understand that we aren't brothers anymore—didn't you all disown me? You came online declaring I was a false son, that my mom cheated. So what changed now?" Daniel demanded.
"Why ask the fake son for help?" He walked around, inspecting the young man.
"I'm sorry for that, Daniel, but I wasn't in my right mind then. Desperate situations call for cooperation, and I'm sure you need my help as much as I need yours," Angelo spoke fearlessly.
"Wow, so now you're a strategist? Who told you I needed your help? As you can see, I was handling things well before you interfered. You'd better return to your sweet family before I tell my man there to finish you off." Daniel glared and hissed.
Angelo knew this wasn't going to be easy. His brother wasn't the person he used to be—he was different now—but Angelo still wanted to try his luck.
