"Hey, wake up! How long are you going to keep sleeping, big brother! Come on, wake up now!"
*This voice... is it Lunar?*
Nova slowly opened his eyes, still half-conscious. His vision was still blurry, but he could feel a weight on top of his chest. After his eyes began to focus, he saw his 11-year-old younger sister sitting on his stomach.
"Hehe~, you're finally awake, big brother!" said Lunar while grinning.
"Hey, I know mom must have told you to wake me up, but...," Nova complained while rubbing his still sleepy eyes. "But can't you not sit on top of my body? What do you think I am?"
"I don't know!" Lunar answered while laughing softly, with an innocent expression.
*This kid...*
Hearing his sister's answer, Nova immediately got up with a sudden movement, making Lunar lose her balance and—
*THUD!*
"Ouch... that hurts!" Lunar fell to the floor beside the bed. "Big brother, you're so mean!"
Before Lunar could protest further, Nova had already pushed his little sister's body out of the room.
"You can go down by yourself, right? I want to take a shower and don't disturb me," said Nova while closing his bedroom door somewhat roughly.
"Tch, what an annoying big brother!" Lunar said while sticking her tongue out toward the closed door. After that, she got up and walked downstairs to the kitchen where their mother was cooking.
"Hmm, what's wrong? Why does your face look so annoyed?" asked Hanah, their mother, while smiling at her daughter's sulking expression.
"It's big brother's fault, mom! I already woke him up but he was mean to me instead," Lunar complained while hugging her mother.
"What happened exactly?"
"I don't know, just ask big brother!"
"How exactly did you wake your brother up?" Hanah asked with a curious tone.
"I woke him up by sitting on his body and then pulling his cheeks like this," Lunar answered with an innocent face.
"Haha~" Hanah laughed while pinching both of her daughter's cheeks. "It seems you really deserved that. Mom doesn't know what your brother did to you earlier, but mom knows he wouldn't commit violence against his little sister."
"Come on, go sit at the dining table."
"Okay, mom," Lunar answered while running to the dining table.
"That kid," Hanah said while smiling at her daughter.
In Nova's Room
Nova had just come out of the bathroom inside his room. He was already wearing his school uniform - white shirt, black pants, and a black hoodie over the shirt.
"Was that a dream or not really? She said it wasn't a dream, but I could be in there because I was sleeping, right? Is there another way to enter that place without sleeping? I'm also not sure if by sleeping I can be in that strange room again."
(!)
"Hey, wait..." Nova suddenly fell silent. "What is this?"
On his right wrist, there was a bracelet he had never seen before. The bracelet was black with one small red eye in the center.
"Since when have I been wearing this bracelet?"
Nova tried to remove the bracelet, but couldn't. He pulled, twisted, even tried to slip his finger underneath it, but the bracelet stuck tightly to his skin as if it had already merged with his body.
"What the hell is this! Why can't it be removed at all?"
"Hey Nova! What are you doing up there again? Hurry up and come down to eat!" Hanah shouted from downstairs.
"Yes mom, wait a moment!" Nova replied while shaking his head.
"Haah... I don't know what this is, but... whatever, I'll think about this later."
Nova took his school bag and left the room.
