Chapter 3 - ERIC ADTER DARK PART 3

Limitless Vice

Episode 3: First Blood Beyond Earth

The warehouse safehouse was alive with shadows and neon. Eric leaned back on a leather couch, smoke curling from his lips as Karma straddled him lazily, tracing her nails down his chest. The corpse of Diesel was already rotting in the corner, but Eric didn't care. In his world, betrayal was a tax you paid with your life.

The phone buzzed in his palm, dragging his eyes down. New mission.

LEVEL: 3

BALANCE: $705

NEXT DEAL VALUE: $15

MISSION: Make your first off-world deal.

REWARD: +$1,000. Access to Galaxy Market Tier 1.

Eric smirked. "Well, shit. I guess Staten Island's too small already."

Karma slid off him, licking his ear before grabbing a bottle of whiskey. "Off-world? You mean… like aliens?"

Eric blew smoke in her face. "Exactly. And if they've got money, they're mine."

The Rift Opens

The phone's screen cracked with light, opening a swirling portal in the middle of the safehouse floor. Diesel's body slid halfway into it before disappearing into the void. Eric stood, pulling on his jacket, eyes glowing faintly.

"You coming?" he asked Karma.

She smirked. "Always."

They stepped into the rift, and the world swallowed them whole.

The air on the other side was sharp and alien, thick with the stink of sulfur and iron. They stood in a sprawling marketplace under a blood-red sky. Stalls lined the streets, filled with strange powders, glowing liquids, and creatures that looked like nightmares made flesh. Armored guards with fangs patrolled the alleys.

Karma's jaw dropped. "Holy shit…"

Eric grinned. "Welcome to the multiverse, baby."

Alien Buyers

The phone pulsed, highlighting a nearby stall glowing in green. Behind it stood a hulking alien—skin scaled like a reptile, eyes burning neon yellow. His teeth clicked as he spoke.

"You are… the new dealer?"

Eric smirked. "That's me. Eric. Staten Island's finest, motherfucker."

The alien hissed, confused, but the phone buzzed. A bag of crystalline powder materialized in Eric's hand, glowing faintly. He tossed it onto the stall.

"Fifteen bucks," Eric said.

The alien blinked. "What is… buck?"

The phone vibrated, translating. "Equivalent to galactic credits. Fifteen."

The alien snarled. "Cheap. Worthless."

Eric leaned forward, eyes blazing. "You ever had a human high? You ever fucked so hard your soul left your body? No? Then shut the fuck up and pay me."

The alien's nostrils flared. Slowly, he handed over a glowing coin that pulsed with energy. The phone beeped.

DEAL COMPLETE. +$15.

BALANCE: $720.

The alien snorted a line right there in front of him. His body spasmed. His scales shimmered brighter. He howled with ecstasy, slamming his fists against the stall.

"More," he growled. "Much… more!"

Eric smirked. "Yeah, that's what they all say."

The Ambush

The deal drew attention. Across the market, shadows shifted. A rival dealer, dressed in obsidian armor with glowing tattoos, stepped forward. His eyes locked onto Eric's phone.

"That's mine," he hissed. "New blood doesn't survive long here."

Six guards surrounded Eric and Karma instantly, blades drawn.

Karma whispered, "We're fucked."

Eric cracked his neck. "No, they are."

The phone pulsed. Eric's inventory exploded into his hands—bags of powders, needles, glowing vials. He ripped one open and inhaled deep. Power surged through his veins. His muscles swelled, eyes burning neon.

He laughed, manic and sharp. "Time to test my new upgrades."

The first guard lunged. Eric caught his blade barehanded, snapping it in half. His other hand slammed a glowing vial into the alien's mouth, forcing it down his throat. The guard convulsed and dropped dead instantly.

"Next," Eric spat.

The market erupted into chaos. Karma grabbed a blade from the ground, slicing throats while Eric moved like a predator, breaking bones and laughing as the rivals fell one by one. Blood sprayed across stalls, splattering strange alien fruits.

Finally, only the armored dealer remained, staggering back.

Eric grabbed him by the throat, lifting him into the air. "You want my phone? Too bad. It's part of me. You want my life? You can't afford it."

He crushed the dealer's windpipe with one hand. The body dropped lifeless to the dirt.

The phone buzzed again.

ENEMY DEALER ELIMINATED. +$1,000.

BALANCE: $1,720.

GALAXY MARKET TIER 1 UNLOCKED.

Eric wiped the blood from his hands, smirking at Karma. "Told you. They're fucked, not us."

The Galaxy Market

Back in the safehouse, the phone displayed a new glowing icon: Galaxy Market. Eric tapped it. Screens of new drugs, weapons, and even women for hire filled the display. Prices stretched from hundreds to billions of credits.

Eric's grin widened. "This is it. Infinite worlds. Infinite money. Infinite pussy. No level cap."

Karma leaned against him, licking his ear. "What's next?"

Eric lit another cigarette, eyes glowing brighter than before. "Next? We scale the fuck up. More deals. More fucking. More blood. Until every galaxy bows down to me."

The phone pulsed again, whispering new missions, new temptations. Eric leaned into the glow.

"Limitless, baby. And I'm just getting started."
