In this world with elves, dwarfes, orcs, monsters, dragons, fairies, spirits and many more races; being a adventurer is what everyone wants to be.
Exploring, treasures, adventure, glory, fame and power. These are just a few of the things that one can encounter on their journey.
If your lucky enough people will sing your praises, make stories about your adventures and your fame will be known throughout the world. Or maybe instead of that you'll find treasures that let you live your whole life without any worries.
Registering in a guild, fighting momsters, leveling up and traveling. In this world most people think this is how you should live.
It's romanticized so much.
But honestly y'all it's overrated.
Setting aside putting your LIFE on the line for a profession with no hourly wage. You do realize you spend multiple days or weeks without a proper shower, or food (since provisions really ain't that good) constantly being alert, sleeping on tents, sleeping near others you don't know (specially since im a lady),monsters, bugs... and don't get me started on blood, like y'all realize your going to have to constantly wash your gear and clothes cause of this? And no you don't have more sets of clothes you can change into; this is the wilderness not a vacation darling your not bringing 2 suitcases with you and if you somehow do most of it will be boring things you NEED or else you'll die. That reminds me the harsh weather, you think jungles are nice? How about deserts or extremely cold tundras. OR WHO KNOWS MAYBE YOU GET STUCK ON A DUNGEON FOR WHO KNOWS HOW LONG OR IN A INTER DIMENSIONAL SPACE CAUSE THIS DARN DWARF DIDN'T LISTEN TO BASIC INSTRUCTIONS!!!!!!
Well yeah I personally think being a adventurer is very and I mean very overrated.
"Oh bUt how wOuLd you kNow thaT just GivE it a trY"
I did. Awful. 0/10. Would. Not. Recommend.
If you still wanna do it sure go ahead your life not mine but I've found a wayyyy better hobby and profession....
Grow a garden.
No it's not boring shut up timmy.
Even if it's not your preferred choice it's better than doing a profession with YOUR LIFE ON THE LINE. But alas to each their own. (Dumbasses.)
Now how did I stumble upon the humble act of gardening.
Well it's time for my very sad origin story that makes anyone cry...
I'll stop with the jokes now. (They're just great for coping)
Well my parents died being adventurers. One day they just never came back.
They were really great parents albeit they were still learning. My mom and dad were adventurers that had to settle down when they had me. My mom was able to barely adapt to this new lifestyle she learned to cook meals not made of monster flesh, had fun talking to the neighbours and being around town and also tried to care for plants (tried she was really bad at it.) but my dad was never able to adapt... so sometimes they would leave for a while to adventure until like I said, one day they didn't come back.
For a while after their deaths I began adventuring. But as you know I didn't like it at all.
So with the money I was able to make I decided to buy a house in my home town and try to figure out what to do now.
After a few months of living without purpose I remembered that my mom used to have a cactus. It was the only thing she was able to successfully grow. So I got one and I liked having it.
It was fun.
And that's how this started.
But something really annoying happened recently. People found out my rank! Honestly it aint. That. High. It's only B rank so why is everyone coming to recruit me!? Just leave me alone who needs a B rank in their party!
I just wanna grow a garden in peace for gosh sake!
