Three days later! At 6 AM, the rookie camp warship departed from Marine Headquarters.

Hours later, nearing noon, the warship docked in a forest covered by dense, ancient trees. Various fierce roars continuously echoed from within, and occasionally, ferocious birds with ten-meter wingspans swept across the sky.

"I hate it here the most. Every time I come here, I feel my whole body tremble." "I hope I don't get zero points today." Many rookies looked fearful.

"Remember, this island is divided into three areas: junior, intermediate, and senior, corresponding to the strength levels of the fierce beasts within. Enter the area according to your strength. Then, eliminate the beasts. Each type of beast has different points. The stronger the beast, the higher the points. Killing them earns you points, and rankings are naturally calculated by points." Zephyr addressed all the rookies.

"There are thirty minutes until noon. Immediately recuperate. Practical combat begins at noon and ends at five. Your performance depends on your results in those five hours."

"Yes!"

The rookies began taking out their rations and eating. There would be no opportunity to eat during practical combat. At the same time, they began inspecting their various weapons. Intermediate and senior students all carried cold weapons, and some confident individuals didn't even bring weapons. Junior students, however, almost all carried firearms, specifically long guns. This was because junior students were too weak; relying solely on their own strength, they would struggle to achieve any results or protect themselves. Therefore, they were permitted to carry firearms, but only ordinary Marine firearms, not top-tier ones.

"No need to bother checking your weapons. I'll stick to you like glue. You won't even get a chance to make a move. Your score is destined to be zero, determined by me!" Drake arrogantly walked up to Law and declared pompously. Law continued to inspect his gun, not bothering to look up.

The gun in his hand was Law's confidence. With his perfect marksmanship and the modified gun, it was still uncertain who would win or lose in practical combat.

Law's silence, in Drake's eyes, was weakness. He looked down on him with disdain, his head held high. "How pathetic." The other rookies kept their distance. They didn't want to be targeted by Drake and get zero points.

"It seems someone will get zero points. We don't have to worry about being last now. That's good for us too." Many rookies' mouths curved into smiles. Zephyr glanced over. He said nothing but looked down at his wristwatch: "Twelve o'clock. Practical combat begins!"

"Whoosh!" All rookies charged out simultaneously, dividing into three major formations. Senior students mostly rushed towards the advanced hunting areas, intermediate students towards the intermediate hunting areas, and junior students naturally towards the junior hunting areas. Of course, some students, confident or unconfident in their own strength, chose higher or lower-level hunting areas.

Law's target was the junior hunting area. His speed was very fast. He quickly surpassed the junior students along the way, but Drake always stayed close behind Law. "Is there a need to be so fast? Anyway, you're getting zero points. You might as well just stay put and sleep soundly." Looking at Law's back, the students revealed schadenfreude smiles. Anyway, it has nothing to do with us. We're just watching the show, not afraid of trouble.

On the shore, all the rookies had moved out. Only the officers remained. "You all move out too." Zephyr said to the dozens of officers. The dozens of officers instantly vanished, disappearing at extreme speed into various parts of the forest. They would disperse across the island, each responsible for an area of several hundred meters, recording battles that occurred in that area, recording scores, and protecting students in danger within that area. Zephyr commanded the overall situation. His Observation Haki instantly spread out, covering the entire island.

"It seems that this time, two junior students have quite a big conflict." An instructor looked at Law's and Drake's disappearing backs: "That Trafalgar Law seems to have good potential. Being targeted like this, he'll most likely get zero points. General Zephyr, are we really not going to intervene and help a potentially promising student?"

"No. It's just a childish squabble between them. Let them fight. It's a small matter, no one will die. Besides, it doesn't violate any rules. We have no reason to intervene." Zephyr said.

His lips curved into a slight smile: "Trafalgar Law, huh? Let this old man see. If you manage to change this situation, even if you get zero points, it would be understandable, but don't even think about becoming this old man's student."

...

Whoosh! Law moved swiftly through the forest. In his Earth period, he often went on hunting adventures, even to the Amazon. He was very experienced. Drake, behind him, didn't seem so relaxed. He clearly wasn't as agile as Law and mostly relied on brute force to traverse the forest, looking quite disheveled. But he still tenaciously clung to Law.

Deep in the forest. Suddenly, the ground subtly vibrated. A wild boar, weighing thousands of jin, galloped wildly past, crashing into several trees along the way. "Thousand-jin wild boar, huh?" Law stopped on a tree trunk, took out his gun, and aimed at the wild boar galloping through the forest.

As he aimed, Law's expression hardened. A figure sped past beneath his feet. It was Drake.

"Roar!" Drake roared. He powerfully slammed his fist onto the wild boar's head. The head caved in. The thousand-jin wild boar let out a wail and was sent flying, landing a few meters away. The wild boar let out mournful cries. Its head was almost split open. It was close to death.

"I said your score would be zero." Drake laughed triumphantly. He rushed towards the wailing wild boar, intending to deliver the final blow: "Die." In a good mood, he slammed his fist towards the wild boar.

"Bang!" But a bullet was faster than him. It pierced through the wild boar's eye, instantly penetrating its brain. By the time Drake's fist landed, the wild boar had already stopped breathing. The last hit counted for Law.

Several hundred meters away, an officer stood on a tree trunk, calmly observing the scene. He then lowered his head and recorded something in his notebook: "Thousand-jin wild boar. Killer: Trafalgar Law. Score: three points!"

Looking at the wild boar's corpse, Drake's face was grim. This wild boar was practically dying. He had planned to steal Law's kill, but Law actually finished it with one shot.

Drake's face darkened as he turned and stared fiercely at Law, who had put away his gun. "I'm going to take a nap. Do you want to be my bodyguard? Anyway, I have points now." Law leisurely leaned against a tree trunk and yawned.

"......." Drake gripped and unclenched his fist, wanting to vomit blood. He didn't dare to make a move. He knew that the moment he acted, he would be subdued by the officer in the forest and then severely punished.

"Bastard!" Drake's frustrated roar echoed through the forest. He glared hatefully at Law, then rushed deeper into the forest without looking back. Law could afford to waste time, but Drake couldn't. Moreover, now that Law had points, clinging to Law any longer would be pointless.

"Next, it's my turn to decide your score: zero!"
