Chapter 50 - Chapter 48- Transmigrator named Luo Feng

Luo Feng woke up in a daze.

Then he heard a sound nearby.

Familiar sounds.

He seemed to have heard that animal grunting sound before.

Where did I…

Then, with remarkable flexibility, he flipped off his back and into a standing position.

His gaze became sharp as he surveyed his surroundings.

His eyes scanned the room and found it filthy.

Dust covered everything, and an unpleasant smell wafted through his nose.

He turned and saw a pile of shit in the corner.

At first it was messy, but eventually it seemed the person became experienced.

Now it was clumped together.

He looked around and realized there wasn't another door.

The only door was the entrance to the room.

A room with just a bed and a cupboard.

Probably someone's bedroom.

Luo Feng frowned in disgust and walked to the door.

He pressed his ear against it and didn't hear grunts.

Instead, it was the sound of muffled laughter.

Luo Feng's eyes grew gloomy once he heard human voices.

Grunt—

The sound distracted him, and he decided the obvious zombie noises were more important.

He turned back and noticed there was an open window.

He walked over and leaned down.

There he saw zombies clawing at the door, desperately trying to get in.

They noticed him and started screaming louder.

There were five floors separating them, but the zombies looked like they were willing to climb every one just to take a bite.

Not knowing what he was thinking, Luo Feng snorted at them.

Then he walked back to the bed and sat down peacefully.

[ System is online ]

[ Welcome back ]

Luo Feng glanced at the system message.

Then he suddenly threw a punch at the screen, only for his fist to pass through without hindrance.

"How long?" Luo Feng was calm, but the room suddenly turned chilly.

[ This is your last chance or you'll die ]

The system was ruthless.

"Oh— but I never said I wanted to live in the first place." Luo Feng sneered.

Dog system.

[ The system can grant you a painful death ]

Cold. Mechanical.

Luo Feng heard the threat.

Obey or be tortured.

His face darkened further as he cursed the damn system.

"And you're sure this is the last time I'll wake up in a zombie apocalypse?" Luo Feng didn't quite believe it.

[ Either comply or suffer torture ]

The system responded.

Luo Feng stayed quiet, as if contemplating whether to risk it.

"Then… can my wish still be fulfilled?" he asked after a while.

[ The system is honorable ]

Luo Feng rolled his eyes.

Who was the one that forced him to transmigrate into zombie apocalypses?

Not once.

Not twice.

But three full times.

Hopefully the damn system kept its word, and this third life would be the last.

Then… then he could go home.

"I accept," Luo Feng said.

Then he received the memories of the body he inhabited.

The world of the original owner was vastly different from his own.

But luckily the system always made him transmigrate to worlds with the same background.

Because of natural disasters, the world had been unified into one giant country.

A feudal society emerged, where nobles ruled alongside the government.

This was the basic setting of all the worlds he had been forced into.

Luckily, they were still modern worlds, not ancient ones.

The major noble families, who had power equal to the government, were:

The Japanese Mori family, who discovered a precious new resource.

The Korean Ming family, who created new sci-fi technology.

The English Harris family, the leading force of health care.

The Thai Noi family, who controlled weaponry.

And the Chinese Wang family, who oversaw food.

Everything was the same—except two things.

First thing was that the zombies had different characteristics in each world.

The first world was a zombie apocalypse where the zombies were mutating too fast

It only took them a day to grow and adapt

The second world was zombies with cores and weird abilities

Some of them made no sense

Their was a zombie in a tracksuit that could jump up to three floors

Another was a zombie wearing a baseball uniform that could throw lumps of his own flesh as balls that exploded

In all, it was a bizarre world

Second thing was that his identity changed each time.

As usual he also had a different identity in this life

This original owner's parents had been normal people before the disasters.

But at least they were free .

Now, his family were commoners scraping by.

His father worked in the mines. His mother as a cleaner.

Easy to guess—they weren't well off.

The original owner suffered before the apocalypse, and met worse luck after.

His parents turned, and he was forced to run, scared and confused.

He crossed paths with nobles who had gone out to play.

These nobles didn't dare to face the zombies and tried to win him over

At first, he resisted, but the nobles coerced him.

They said it was dangerous for him to stay alone.

The original owner believed them stupidly.

He felt flattered that nobles let him join, just because he had a superpower.

Yes—he was an ability user.

He discovered it while escaping zombies.

The nobles saw it too—that was why they picked him up.

He had very weak telekinesis. Barely a minute of use before a migraine.

Still, he grew prideful.

So proud that he even tried to make a move on one of the girls in the group.

She looked weak, soft, pitiful.

She told him she was a low-level noble, and always felt bad for him because he was forced to fight at the front lines.

In other words, bait.

But he didn't think of it that way. To him, it was normal for ability users to fight.

So the girl looked distressed, wiped his sweat, and smiled sweetly at him.

Actually, he was just a high school student.

There was no way he wouldn't fall for such a green tea.

She seduced him for a long time

But all he did was stare and blush.

The girl was beautiful which made him have a sense of inferiority.

Naturally, the green tea beauty was disgusted by his gaze.

But she would blush back, peeking shyly at him.

Inside, she found him lewd and disgusting.

Eventually, he told her to meet him in secret.

In truth, he only wanted to confess.

But she screamed, acted pitiful, and attracted attention.

The nobles, dissatisfied that a commoner had abilities while they didn't, seized the chance.

They locked him up and bullied him.

The group wasn't just nobles—they had picked up other strays.

Together, they stayed in a small apartment.

These strays thought that he had harassed the girl so they didn't intervene and also agreed with locking him up.

The act was carried out by a gangster

The nobles had picked up said gangster along the way.

The gangster the original owner hated—because he stared at the girl lewdly.

That gangster grabbed the girl by the neck, threatening him not to move.

The original owner froze.

The nobles began to beat him bloody.

And then he saw it.

The girl, supposedly threatened, clinging to the gangster.

He thought she screamed at the time because she was scared.

He wanted to tell her not to worry.

He staggered up and tried to get close to her earnestly saying that he'll save her.

The nobles stopped beating him up and smirked

But the girl he was desperately trying to save rolled her eyes and told him she was already sleeping with the gangster.

That she seduced the original owner on purpose to lure him.

Just to deal with him.

The original owner refused to believe it—until she kissed the gangster right in front of him.

The gangster groped her shamelessly.

The nobles whistled.

They took turns kissing her.

Finally, he understood.

The "pure" girl was a slut.

His heart broke.

The nobles locked him up in this room as punishment.

They fed him leftovers.

Refused to let him use the bathroom.

Harassed him daily.

The bullying was so bad, they left the next room empty just to torture him more.

Each night, one of them would sleep with the girl, screaming at the top of their lungs so he could hear.

Eventually, the original owner broke.

A heart attack killed him.

That was when Luo Feng possessed the body.

Luo Feng digested the memories. His eyes went bloodshot.

He could feel the resentment and grief of the original owner.

[ Task – punish the villains and uphold justice ]

[ Reward – all attributes +20 ]

Luo Feng glanced at his skinny body. The reward felt too little.

"Do you really think just 20 is enough?" Luo Feng squinted.

[ Reward update – ×2 attributes ]

Luo Feng smiled.

"This is how it should be. If you want me to work, the rewards have to match."

The system stayed silent.

He didn't expect an answer anyway.

He opened the inventory.

Everything was reset as usual.

All his items from the previous runs—gone.

Only the newbie package remained.

For some reason, it always reset.

Speaking of death… how did he die last time?

Right. Some crazy woman killed him.

If he ever saw her again, he'd kill her.

Or any of those other lunatics—like the crazy doctor Choi Sena, or the hacker Park Haeun.

They had nearly killed him too.

In the end, it was the gun-slinging madwoman who got him.

He sighed.

If not for her, he would've gotten closer to the truth behind the apocalypse.

Now here he was, again.

At least the system promised this was the last time.

Even if he failed, it was better than being dragged to another zombie world.

All this, just because he liked zombie movies.

The system called him a "qualified participant" and forced him into different worlds.

Just because he watched a movie doesn't mean he's an expert!!

The first time, he was incredulous.

Now, he still was.

Damn dog system!!

Luo Feng grudgingly opened the newbie package.

A gun with infinite bullets.

Food and water for a year.

First aid kit.

+5 to all attributes.

He stored the rest, keeping only the gun.

No need to load it—the bullets never ran out.

Luo Feng glanced at the system's clock and prepared himself.

He stood beside the door, steadying his breath.

The room fell silent.

Then footsteps approached.

"Hm, is the rat finally dead?" an arrogant voice sneered outside.

"Tsk, he's truly disgusting."

"I can smell the shit from across the hall… or is that just a commoner's natural scent?"

The noble laughed.

Luo Feng's gaze sharpened.

He gripped the gun.

The door opened.

The man stepped inside—completely oblivious to Luo Feng hiding in his blind spot, behind the door.
