On the other side, Emerald Grass was having a peaceful night. She wasn't sleeping because the concept of time was distorted there. The times she was taken out to sunbathe were the only times she could truly tell when it was.

So even in the wee hours of the morning, Emma was still sitting on the bed, hugging her knees and watching a bad action movie on the flat screen TV.

The TV wasn't connected to any network and she could only watch movies and dramas.

Emma wasn't interested in any of that, but it was better than simple solitude.

But while she was distracted, she didn't realize she'd fallen asleep at some point, but the scene she was in was exactly the same as before she fell asleep, so she never noticed.

But she noticed something very quickly, someone was standing next to the door!

Emerald Grass's eyes widened, and she didn't move, but her muscles were ready to react. She slowly turned her head and watched the man who appeared.

Pink hair styled in an undercut, a tank top over an athletic but not large physique, skin so white that Emerald Grass was sure he was albino, as well as a pair of sunglasses that made it impossible to see exactly where he was looking.

But she was sure, he was looking at her.

Neither of them spoke for a long time, they each stared at each other.

Ringo wasn't sure what to feel at that moment.

But he was sure he was confused, very confused.

Is Emma Emerald Grass? Or is Emerald Grass Emma?

Who was this woman? Because she appeared in the original Ringo's life.

Also, because as soon as he saw her, his soul seemed to vibrate, vibrate with an absurd intensity.

If it were before, he wouldn't have noticed anything, but now it's different. He's partly a spiritual being and has delved deeply into the spiritual side during this time.

So, looking into his own soul now, he noticed something was wrong.

He always thought the original Ringo had only left a remnant of will in his soul, an obsession, but now he was doubtful, because he could feel that part of his own soul, a small part of it, was vibrating now.

This frightened him deeply and he was using all his abilities to try to understand the event.

That's why he remained silent, staring at Emerald Grass.

Finally, using Nightmare's genetic knowledge, he came to a conclusion that left him extremely frustrated and unhappy. He was speechless. This was probably a soul parasite.

Just like Han Xiao acquired it through Psyker's power, but his was a much more natural occurrence.

He doesn't know if it's a fragment of the original Ringo's soul that grew over his soul or if the original Ringo's obsession culminated in the creation of a sub-personality. If so, the fact that he was tortured for months may have made his mind fragile enough for this.

The worst part is that he tried to free himself from it through evolution and found he couldn't!

The reason?! His soul fragment is also Ringo! That fragment has no interest in dying, so his evolution can't work to harm himself when he himself doesn't want to be harmed!

It's a paradox, he can't rid himself of this obsession because he doesn't want to rid himself of it.

If Ringo hadn't been using his energy to calm himself, he would probably be having a fit of rage right now, but he just stood there, staring at that woman.

Did he consider killing her so the obsession could disappear? But as soon as he thought of it, a strong aversion stopped him. Even the mere thought of killing her caused a disturbance in his power. It was weak, but it was there. He could force the event, but he had a hunch that not only would it not solve the problem, but it would also harm him much more.

For the first time since escaping Germinal, Ringo felt powerless. He hated that feeling, he hated it to the core!

But he could only hope that, due to the difference in conception and the strength of his own soul, he would have enough time to rid himself of this obsession.

It didn't seem aggressive, even now, he didn't feel like it was growing up, but he was sure it was responsible for the dreams he was having, as well as the constant feeling of longing to meet her.

Now that he had found her, the obsession didn't fade, but it changed. He could feel desire for her, not like Hila's, which made him want to rip her clothes off right then and there. The desire was simpler, to take her to the altar and get married, live together, have children... The original Ringo truly loved this woman, but this confused him even more.

He couldn't understand how Ringo, who was just a brat at the time, could fall into a love so deep that it would become obsessive, this boy was practically a Yandere seed, a Simp, it's not scientific!

There had to be something there and he thought this woman knew it, but when he thought about controlling her, that negative feeling returned. He could feel that their current state was like good neighbors, as long as he didn't cross the line, this subpersonality wouldn't try anything. But what if he did and she started trying to take control?

So he could only go with the flow. He needed information, but he couldn't force this woman.

This frustrated him even more and for a moment he wished he'd never met her.

By this point, the pair had been staring at each other for minutes without saying anything. Ringo sighed deeply, took off his glasses, and scratched the bridge of his nose with his other hand. He folded his glasses and hung them on his shirt. He looked at her with his red eyes. Emerald Grass frowned slightly, finding him slightly familiar, but far from remembering who he really was.

-Do you know who I am?- he asked calmly, looking at her expression.

-No.- She didn't ignore him and answered calmly.

-Well, I didn't expect you to recognize me anyway.- Ringo shook his head, and the next moment, his form began to change, just as it had in the dream. Even his clothes changed. In a few seconds, Death Scream's figure disappeared, replaced by a small boy with wheatish skin and short hair, looking calmly at Emerald Grass.

Emerald Grass's eyes slowly widened.

Ringo's expression didn't change as he said. -It's been a long time, Emma.
