The blank page can erase anyone's fate
Erasing fate generates Distortion in the surrounding area
Basic Distortion → alters bodies, shadows, and the flow of time
Ael does not yet know how to fully control it

Zael lunges at him at high speed
Instinctively, Ael raises the blank page
Silver streaks appear → Distortion expands into a transparent shield
Zael strikes the Distortion → a shockwave explodes outward
Ael's thought:
> "I can't control it… but I have to use it to protect myself."
The battle intensifies:
Distortion causes the surrounding space to warp
Zael's attacks sometimes move too fast or too slow due to the warped time
Ael starts to learn the rhythm of Distortion and adjusts his movements
