Chapter 35 - vacation 2

As the sun shone brightly over the serene lake, Taejoon and Han cast their lines into the calm waters. The gentle ripples on the surface reflected the surrounding trees, creating a peaceful atmosphere. They sat in comfortable silence, each lost in their own thoughts.

Taejoon's eyes wandered to Han, who was gazing out at the water with a serene expression. The sunlight danced in Han's hair, highlighting the subtle waves, and Taejoon's heart fluttered in his chest. He quickly looked away, focusing on his line to avoid getting caught staring.

As they sat there, Han suddenly felt a tug on his line. "I think I've got one!" he exclaimed, his eyes sparkling with excitement. Taejoon turned to him, and together, they worked to reel in the catch, their hands touching as they guided the line.

As they looked at each other, the air between them charged with a palpable tension. Taejoon's heart skipped a beat as their eyes met, Han's eyes seemed to hold a similar spark, and Taejoon's heart raced with anticipation.

But suddenly they were jolted back to reality by the sound of Harrison, Lorenzo, and Hudson whispering behind a tree. "Take a picture, it's a wonderful moment," one of them said, their voices barely above a whisper.

Taejoon and Han quickly pulled apart, their faces flushing with embarrassment. They exchanged a sheepish glances.

Taejoon walked up to the group, a mixture of curiosity and annoyance on his face. "What's going on here?" he asked, his eyes scanning the trio.

Harrison, Lorenzo, and Hudson exchanged guilty glances, their faces breaking into wide grins. "Just, uh, admiring the view," Harrison said, trying to sound nonchalant.

Taejoon raised an eyebrow. "The view?" he repeated, his tone skeptical.

Lorenzo chuckled. "Yeah, the scenic lake, the trees, the... fishing spot."

Hudson snorted, trying to stifle his laughter. "Yeah, that's it. The fishing spot."

Taejoon's gaze narrowed. "You guys weren't watching us, were you?"

The trio's grins faltered, and they looked at each other nervously. "Who, us? Never," Harrison said, holding up his hands in mock innocence.

Taejoon shook his head, a sighs

Han walked up behind him, a questioning look on his face. "What's going on?"

Taejoon turned to him, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "Just these guys enjoying the view."

An hour later, the group gathered around the cooking area, the aroma of the food wafting through the air. Kai and Adriel from alpha boys proudly presented their culinary creation, awaiting the group's feedback. "How's the taste?" Kai asked, beaming with pride.

Adriel chimed in, "Yes, it's good, right?"

Ace, ever the tease, chimed in, "Oh, yeah, it's good. More like those aged ex-chef cooking."

The group exchanged knowing glances, their faces neutral. Hudson, trying to stifle a grin, said, "The salt... it tastes also like sugar."

Lorenzo quickly nudged him to keep quiet

"Really? That must be how delicious it tastes..." Kai said, his tone dripping with sarcasm.

The group nodded in unison, their mouths full of food, trying not to gag. Adriel offered, "Do you want some? We can add it..."

They quickly shook their heads, refusing the offer. Taejoon, trying to be kind, managed to swallow his portion without incident. "You two should go freshen up," he suggested

Kai and Adriel nodded, oblivious to the impending doom, and walked away. As soon as they were out of sight, the group rushed to the bathroom, their faces turning green. Hudson, Harrison, Lorenzo, Ace, Caleb, Han, adriel and Jace all found their way to the toilet, their stomachs rebelling against the culinary abomination.

Taejoon, meanwhile, couldn't help but laugh at the spectacle. He wrapped a bottle of water and rinsed his mouth, feeling a mix of relief and amusement. "Well, I guess that's one way to get a reaction," he chuckled to himself.
