Lucius's senses dulled from the overwhelming euphoria of the soul's consumption, his mind still reeling from the crazy amount of power he had just devoured. The room around him seemed to pulse with residual energy, spider webbed cracks spreaded across the walls as if a great battle had taken place here.
His trembling body slowly began to settle as it got used to the aftershocks of pleasure and power that overcame him upon consuming the soul.
He took a shaky breath, trying to regain control of his racing thoughts. His vision blurred for a moment before sharpening again, the faint glow of the golden soul's essence lingering in his eyes before disappearing.
The rush of energy coursing through him was unlike anything he'd experienced before, he could feel it strengthening his bones, sharpening his senses and improving his existence as a whole. The only thing that did not improve in the slightest was his Infernal Essence.
'What the heck did I just consume..' Lucius thought
'If she had that type of power why was she so easily defeated by a demon that was weaker than me?'
'How was she even able to escape from me in the first place…..I can kind of understand her getting captured by this demon since she did seem weak willed and the demon had some kind of mind fuckery or mind rape ability.' Lucius continued
'Well whatever, it doesn't matter now, she is dead and her power is mine.'
Lucius continued examining his body as he realised with slight annoyance that he still wasn't as tall as he was before he died. After getting that boost in power from absorbing the girl's, his height increased to about five feet and two inches.
Still very short but not midget level anymore fortunately.
Lucius suddenly snapped to attention as he remembered that he was still in the village and the demons who he assumed were under the control of the demon he had killed should now be free and may just attack him.
He made his way to the exit of the chief building and stepped outside, not even peeking to check for any dangers due to how much more powerful he had gotten.
When he stepped outside what greeted him were the bowing heads of the remaining demons of the village, even the ones that seemed like they wanted to attack him before he killed the chief demon were bowing before him, it was a surprising but not unwelcome turn of events.
Suddenly, the almost forgotten mechanical voice echoed inside his head again.

'Well that was a nice information dump, I almost forgot about this thing.'
'I'm gonna need to check out my status soon to truly understand everything about this chief demon thing and what happened to me after I consumed that girl's soul. '
Lucius, curious about what he could do now decided to test if he could order the demons around.
"You." Lucius said, pointing at the first demon he had seen when first arriving at the village.
"Slowly walk over towards me." He ordered
The demon's body had tensed up the moment Lucius had pointed at him and hearing Lucius's orders, it very carefully and slowly began to crawl its way towards Lucius using its little fleshy tendrils.
'I swear, if I didn't go through certain experiences back on earth I likely would have fainted from fear and disgust upon seeing this disgusting little thing crawling its way towards me using its disgusting little fleshy fucking tendrils..' Lucius shivered in disgust
'How Mike from monsters inc didn't manage to scare a single child still confuses me, if you have one eye while being that tiny you don't need to roar to scare any human child. The mere sight of you should have caused them to faint from fear.
"All of you go back to doing whatever you were doing." Lucius ordered
'I think I'm going to make this place my new base, I have no idea where the previous demon got wood from to build this or if he even built this at all. But if I'm going to live here for the foreseeable future, then I need to make it look good.'
Lucius decided on holding off checking his status to find out what exactly happened to him and instead decided to thoroughly examine each and every mini house in the village. There was no reason not to anymore since the demons were basically at his beck and call now and even if they did attack, he was so much more powerful now that it wouldn't matter.
Lucius made his way over to the first demon's house, he knew there were alive humans here since he heard muffled screaming that sounded exactly like a human.
So he wanted to find them and extract some information from them. Who knows, maybe they could be a builder and help him fix up his little village now.
Of course they wouldn't have a choice in this matter.
He finally arrived at the first demon's house, entering it as he neared the house.
As soon as he entered an intense bloody scent assaulted his senses, along with a very grotesque sight. There was a human girl lying on the ground, presumably dead. Her stomach was ripped open and her internal organs were showing, the blood all around was dry, likely hinting at the fact that she may have been here for a very long time.
She wasn't anyone that Lucius recognised and her soul seemed to have been devoured since Lucius felt no hunger from looking at her nor did he see a soul.
His eyes moved across the room, noting nothing of importance. Realising this, he silently left the house, moving on to the other ones.

Lucius didn't find anything in any of the other mini houses worth noting. No humans, no useful supplies, just blood, bones and dead people. The demons seemed to have an instinctual routine though, they would go outside of the village every now and then to check if there was anything or anybody around, or at least that was what Lucius assumed they were doing.
Everytime they did that they always came to him, bowed, then left. It was a weird ritual-like thing that Lucius didn't understand at all, he didn't know if they were trying to communicate with him or if they just liked doing that.
And so Lucius decided to finally check his status that he kept putting off everytime, he assumed they would bow to him every time because of his new title, but he would much rather be sure of what he was thinking here.

Lucius absorbed all this information, a mixture of satisfaction, curiosity and annoyance swelling within him. He appreciated the fact that he could see his skills and basically how strong he was in real time but not having any description at all for any of his skills really bothered him.
That might be salvageable though, if the level icon near his status was anything to by, he assumed that if his status reached max level then he would be able to finally know exactly what his skills do.
'Well, thats if it levels up, which I have no idea how to do.' Lucius sighed
'In the meantime, I should see if those demons can be of any use, maybe one of them has some special ability or something who knows.'
Following that thought Lucius got up and then made his way out of his house, going straight towards the entrance of the village while calling the demons towards him using his Minion Command ability.
The demons managed to reach there in about thirty seconds after Lucius himself had reached the entrance.
Lucius noted how they were all bowing without him actually saying anything to them, he knew they could understand what he was saying but that was only them, he had no idea if they could even talk since they never did and the only they did whenever they finish a task is bow to him.
"I want all of you to state your names and your abilities." Lucius said
The demons stared at Lucius.
Lucius stared at the demons.
This staring contest continued for about two more minutes before Lucius realised he was being retarded and that the demons before him did not have any names nor did they have any abilities, well unique abilities at least.
Lucius sighed loudly as he wondered what exactly he was supposed to do with basically mindless puppets that cannot fully understand everything he said.
'Wait.' Lucius suddenly realised
'Maybe they just don't know how to respond, since they can't talk. If I order them to talk they wont know what to do, but if I order them to do physical actions like walk or attack something then they would be able to do that since they have limbs.'
'Lets try a different approach then.'
"Everyone follow me." Lucius uttered while using his command ability
The demons reacted instantly as they quickly made their way over to Lucius who was walking towards the first mini house.
Lucius entered the house and went over to the corner of the room, the demons following behind him like little ducklings. He pointed his hands at the dead girl and ordered, " Use your ability on the girl."
As soon as those words left Lucius's mouth a multitude of things suddenly happened
