Chapter 33 - Chapter 33 Inhumans

Xiao Han's gaze fell upon the distant, greyish-white Planet, a slight smile playing on his lips.

"Tony, fancy a trip to the Moon?"

Tony, who was admiring the Earth's curve, pouted at the question. "The Moon? What's there to see on that barren place? I've seen countless photos from NASA."

"Photos don't show everything." Xiao Han smiled mysteriously, raising his hand to draw a golden circle in the air.

A portal slowly opened, revealing the rugged craters on the far side of the Moon.

"Wait, this is..." Tony's eyes widened. "You can even do inter-Planet teleportation?"

"A little trick." Xiao Han made an inviting gesture. "Coming?"

Tony's armor thrusters adjusted slightly. "You said it! If you send me somewhere weird, Pepper will go insane."

The two stepped through the portal one after another, instantly finding themselves on the Moon's surface.

Tony's armor automatically adjusted its gravity system and life support. He carefully stepped onto the lunar soil, leaving clear footprints.

"Wow..." Tony looked down at his footprints. "Feels like Armstrong."

Xiao Han, meanwhile, hovered a few centimeters above the ground, his gaze sweeping over the surrounding terrain.

"What are you looking for?" Tony asked curiously.

"A hidden city." Xiao Han's eyes glowed faintly golden, his Super Vision penetrating the lunar surface, searching for abnormal energy fluctuations.

"A city? On the Moon?" Tony scoffed. "Unless it's aliens... Wait, you're not saying..."

Xiao Han suddenly raised his hand, and another portal opened, but this time the other side wasn't the desolate lunar surface, but a vast, technologically advanced dome city!

"Holy shit!" Tony's breath hitched for a moment. "This is impossible! How can there be... on the far side of the Moon?"

"Welcome to Attilan." Xiao Han flew into the portal first. "The capital of the Inhumans."

Tony hesitated for a second, then gritted his teeth and followed. "Jarvis, record everything!"

The moment they passed through the portal, Tony's vision cleared.

Towering spires gleamed under a pale blue energy shield, and floating vehicles traced elegant paths through the air.

The humanoid beings walking on the streets were either indistinguishable from humans or had scales, wings, or other mutated features.

"This... this..." Tony's faceplate retracted, revealing a look of stunned disbelief.

"This defies all laws of physics! How could our satellites not detect such a large city?"

"A magic barrier plus Kree Empire technology." Xiao Han explained. "The Inhumans have lived here for centuries."

Just then, a squad of guards in silver uniforms quickly surrounded them, their energy weapons flashing with dangerous light.

"Intruders! Drop your weapons!" the lead guard shouted, a glowing crystal embedded in his forehead.

Tony instinctively raised his palm repulsors. "Jarvis, analyze these weapons!"

"Energy readings unknown, recommend caution, Mr. Stark."

Xiao Han, however, simply looked at them calmly. "We mean no harm, we just want to talk to your king."

The guards exchanged glances, clearly surprised that the newcomers spoke their language.

Suddenly, the crowd parted, and a man in a black, ornate robe and a red-haired woman stepped out.

The man's eyes were an unnatural blue, and a faint energy field surrounded him.

"I am Black Bolt, and this is my wife, Medusa. For certain reasons, she will be my voice." The man signed, and the woman translated beside him.

"Why have you trespassed into Attilan?"

Xiao Han nodded slightly. "It's an honor, Black Bolt. I am Xiao Han, and this is Tony Stark. We are from Earth, and we wish to establish contact with the Inhumans."

Black Bolt's gaze lingered on them for a moment, particularly on Xiao Han's armor.

"Have Earthlings developed to this extent?" Medusa translated simultaneously.

"Uh, actually, most Earthlings don't even know there's a city on the far side of the Moon." Tony interjected. "To be honest, I just found out myself."

Black Bolt's expression turned serious. He quickly made a few gestures, and Medusa translated swiftly: "Come with me, this is not the place to talk."

He turned and walked towards the central palace, and the guards motioned for the two to follow.

Tony leaned in and whispered to Xiao Han, "You knew about this alien city all along? Why didn't you tell me sooner?"

"Surprise." Xiao Han chuckled. "Besides, some things have more impact when you see them with your own eyes, don't they?"

Tony rolled his eyes. "My worldview has been severely impacted. I'll need a whole bottle of whiskey to recover when I get back."

The interior of the palace was even more magnificent than its exterior, a perfect blend of futuristic technology and ancient decoration.

"Welcome, visitors from Earth." Medusa looked at them and smiled.

"To be able to breach our barrier, you are certainly not ordinary."

Tony couldn't help but stare at her hair. "Wow, that hairstyle is so cool! How do you do it?"

Medusa smiled slightly. "An Inhumans gift."

Xiao Han got straight to the point. "We came here to discuss the possibility of cooperation between the Inhumans and Earth."

Black Bolt and Medusa exchanged a look.

"We live in seclusion here precisely because we don't want to get involved in Earth's conflicts." Medusa said.

"But Earth's crisis could affect the Moon." Xiao Han responded calmly. "The Kree Empire has already begun to act, and they are very interested in the Tesseract."

Hearing the words "Kree Empire," Black Bolt's body visibly tensed.

Medusa's face also became serious. "You know about the Kree?"

"Just repelled a scout ship." Tony said proudly. "Though Xiao handled it on his own."

Black Bolt suddenly stood up and walked over to Xiao Han, examining him closely.

After a moment, he began to sign, "You are not a normal human."

Xiao Han nodded. "You can call me Superman."

"Superman?" Medusa raised an eyebrow. "Quite an arrogant title."

"Well-deserved." Tony interjected. "This guy can dismantle spaceships with his bare hands."

Black Bolt pondered for a moment, then suddenly raised his hand, signaling the guards to withdraw.

"We need to talk." His expression was unusually serious.

"About the Kree Empire, about the future of the Inhumans, and... the fate of Earth."

Xiao Han smiled slightly. "That's exactly why we came."

The subsequent conversation lasted for several hours.

Tony was like a kid in a candy store, marveling at the Inhumans' technology, especially their Terrigen Mist technology.

Meanwhile, Xiao Han reached a preliminary cooperation agreement with Black Bolt: mutual support when Earth faces a threat, and gradual progress in exchanges between the two sides.

Although Xiao Han felt that with him there, not much support was needed, having more friends was always better than having more enemies.

As they were about to leave, Medusa handed Xiao Han a crystal.

"This is a communicator. You can contact us if needed."

Xiao Han took the crystal and nodded in thanks.

Tony looked longingly at the hovering vehicles. "Can I bring some research equipment next time? Your anti-gravity technology is amazing!"

Medusa chuckled. "Perhaps, Mr. Stark."

In front of the return portal, Tony suddenly thought of something and turned back to ask, "Wait, do you guys have WiFi here?"

Black Bolt and Medusa looked bewildered.

"Never mind, forget I asked." Tony awkwardly rubbed his nose.

Stepping back through the portal onto the Moon's surface, Tony was still in shock.

"I can't believe it... A super civilization hidden on the far side of the Moon! All our astronomers should be fired!"

Xiao Han looked at him amusedly. "With a magic barrier and advanced technology, it's normal for your telescopes not to detect it."

"That's not scientific!" Tony waved his arms. "Such a big city! So many people! What do they eat? What do they drink? Where does the oxygen come from?"

"Kree technology can solve these problems." Xiao Han explained. "The Inhumans are the product of early Kree Empire genetic experiments."

Tony suddenly stopped. "Wait, you mean... those people are humans modified by aliens?"

"More or less."

"Wow..." Tony whistled. "This is way more exciting than S.H.I.E.L.D.'s classified files."

Xiao Han raised his hand and opened the portal back to Earth. "Ready for more surprises? The Universe is much bigger than you think."

Tony took a deep breath and stepped through the portal. "I suddenly feel like my armor has a lot of room for improvement."

Their figures disappeared from the Moon's surface, leaving behind only two parallel sets of footprints, lying quietly on the silent lunar soil.
