After that Kael quietly whispered, "Thank you," to Eren and quickly walked away.
Eren stood still, watching him leave, his thoughts sinking into something deeper. But before he could dwell on it , a familiar voice interrupted.
"Eren, what are you doing here all alone Did something happen?" Mark's tone carried concern as he approached.
Eren snapped out of his thoughts. "No, nothing. What about you What are you doing here."
Mark laughed softly. "I just came to make a call. Anyway, since you're here to let's go back the others must be waiting."
Eren nodded, and the two of them walked back together.
When they returned, Yuna leaned forward curiously. "So, Eren, everything alright Did you finish what you went for."
The others glanced over too, waiting for his reply.
Eren looked at them briefly, then said, "Everything's fine. But it's late… I think I'll head home."
Lucas frowned. "Leaving already Come on, stay a little longer. It's not that late yet."
Andrew grinned and added, "Yeah, man! Just relax and enjoy for once.
Eren didn't answer. Instead he turned toward Yuna. "Are you coming or not."
Yuna raised his brows, then smirked. "Fine, let's go." He stood up and glanced back at the group. "We'll head out now. Catch you later."
The two left the club together.
Outside, the cool night air brushed past them. Yuna gave Eren a sideways look, teasing, "So… what's going on with you and Mark Do you actually like him ."
Eren's eyes narrowed. "Don't waste time on nonsense. It's nothing like that."
He walked ahead without looking back, ignoring Yuna's smirk.
But from the shadows near the entrance, another figure had been watching.
Mark.
His eyes followed Eren's figure as he left, and under his breath, he whispered to himself voice thick with obsession
"Eren… you're mine. You have no idea how long I've waited for this moment to finally see you again. Maybe you've forgotten me… but I never forgot you. Not for a single day."
Yet, from across the hall someone else had seen everything.
Kael.
Hidden partly behind a wall, he noticed the way Mark's gaze dwell on Eren, the way his expression shifted into something dark and possessive.
A slow, sinister smile spread across Kael's face.
"So… you tried to put me down today Mark Fine. I forgave you once. But if you try again…" His whisper curled with menace. "…then I'll show you what it really means to cross me."
The evil grin twisted deeper, transforming him into someone completely different from the shy, innocent boy everyone thought he was.
But then, a staff member called out from behind.
"Kael! We need you over here."
Instantly, his expression shifted. The sharpness vanished, his eyes softened, and by the time he turned around, he was once again the timid, polite boy everyone expected him to be.
Nobody could guess the truth hiding behind that mask.
