Chapter 350 - 《DXD: Infinite Loot System》Chapter 350: The Final Reckoning

"DXD: Infinite Loot System"Chapter 350: The Final Reckoning

Roygun Belphegor watched the Holy Spear streak toward her and closed her eyes. There was regret, yes—but she'd reached her limit. This was the end.

But fate, as ever, had other plans.

"CAO CAO!"

A voice thundered down from the heavens. A blue-green arrow of light ripped through the sky, zeroing in on Cao Cao with lethal intent.

Cao Cao's instincts screamed. He dodged, but the arrow curved midair and came for him again.

"HAH!"

With a shout, Cao Cao surged with energy and met the arrow head-on. His spear struck out, detonating the attack in a flash of light and thunder.

The ground shook. Twin shadows descended—Ddraig and Albion, their massive forms crashing to earth. Tenra stood atop them, bow fading from his hands as he leapt down, Grayfia, Yubelluna, and the others close behind.

"Miss Roygun, hang in there!"

Tenra scooped Roygun out of the blood-soaked dirt, hands already glowing as he unleashed Mother's Smile, healing her wounds.

No one needed to ask what kind of hell had unfolded here. Roygun's breath was barely a whisper; a moment later and she'd have been gone.

"Tenra... Yumira... please, save them..."

Color seeped back into her cheeks, but Roygun was still thinking of her peerage, voice trembling as she pleaded.

"Relax. Your peerage is safe. Yubelluna's already helping them."

Tenra wiped blood from Roygun's face and offered a reassuring smile.

Her peerage had been at death's door—several unconscious, a few a heartbeat away from the end. Only the rare Phoenix Tears Yubelluna carried had pulled them back.

Luck was on their side. Anyone else would have watched them die, powerless.

"Th-thank you..."

Roygun managed a smile, emotions tangled between relief and disbelief. She'd already surrendered to despair, and now—rescued at the last moment. Was Tenra her destined white knight after all?

Not that she could dwell on it. Survival felt good, and she hadn't even tasted the sweetness of romance yet. Dying now would be a waste.

Tenra, oblivious to Roygun's swirling thoughts, handed her over to Grayfia.

"Grayfia, can you take care of Miss Roygun?"

Grayfia nodded and helped Roygun to her feet.

"Roygun, even you end up this battered sometimes."

"Grayfia... what rotten luck, you had to see me like this."

"Forget about pride. Focus on healing."

They knew each other well enough for blunt honesty. Grayfia guided Roygun away, leaving Tenra face-to-face with Cao Cao.

"Cao Cao, you're a tough man to track down."

Tenra's voice was cold steel. This time, he wasn't letting him slip away.

"I knew you'd come for me, Tenra Kamiyo."

Cao Cao's mood was almost cheerful as he looked from Ddraig to Albion.

"So these are the legendary Heavenly Dragons? I'd heard rumors, but seeing them in person... Even I feel the pressure. How did you pull this off?"

Tenra smiled. "I call it Extreme Heaven Drive—a little trick of mine. I just released Ddraig and Albion from their Sacred Gear prisons. Simple as that."

Cao Cao's eyes widened. "Brutal, but effective. As far as I know, you're the only Sacred Gear user in the world who's managed it! You're a fascinating man, Tenra Kamiyo."

He paused, curiosity piqued. "Aren't you worried they'll betray you? These beasts spent centuries sealed away—they must resent you. If they kill you, they're free."

Tenra turned to the dragons. "Ddraig, Albion—would you ever betray me?"

Ddraig rumbled, "Never really thought about it. But for now? No. Partnering with you has been fun."

Albion nodded. "Same here."

Tenra shrugged at Cao Cao. "See?"

Cao Cao laughed, slapping his chest. "Unbelievable. You've tamed the Two Heavenly Dragons? Hell, you recruited Ophis—at this point, nothing you do surprises me."

Tenra's eyes hardened. "Enough talk. This ends today, Cao Cao."

Battle intent radiated from him, thick and undeniable.

Cao Cao stroked his chin, feigning dilemma. "Red Emperor, White Dragon, Grayfia the Annihilation Queen, and you—Tenra Kamiyo. I'm confident, but not delusional. I can't win against all of you."

He smiled, all calculation. "I don't do suicide missions."

Cao Cao's pragmatism was legendary—never reckless, always rational. If he wanted to escape, even Tenra's whole team might fail to stop him. But Tenra had no intention of letting him run.

"Ddraig, Albion—back to your Sacred Gears."

Tenra's mind was made up.

"Understood, Partner."

Light flashed; the dragons shrank to jewel-like forms and vanished into Tenra's body.

"This is between me and Cao Cao. Grayfia, please don't interfere."

He was deadly serious. Before Grayfia could reply, Roygun, now steadier, called out:

"Tenra Kamiyo, that Holy Spear is too dangerous! Don't be reckless—we should take him down together!"

Hatred burned in her eyes, the humiliation of defeat still raw.

Tenra shook his head. "I understand how you feel, Miss Roygun. But let me handle this. I'll avenge you and your peerage."

He turned away from the group, stepping toward Cao Cao.

Roygun opened her mouth, words dying on her lips. She knew it was foolish, but her heart hammered in her chest.

Grayfia watched in silence, her gaze sharp, calculating.

Let's see what you're truly capable of, Tenra Kamiyo.

Tenra faced Cao Cao, voice ringing clear.

"This is our fight. No one else. Today, we settle this—once and for all."

Cao Cao grinned, battle spirit flaring.

"You said it."

He spun his spear, the air crackling with energy.
