Chapter 158 - 《DXD: Infinite Loot System》Chapter 158: Rias’s Resolve

"Tenra!"

"Tenra-sama!"

With all barriers fallen, Rias and the girls surged forward, rushing to Tenra's side. The battle between the Two Heavenly Dragons had been a storm of chaos and miracles—far beyond anything "thrilling" could capture. Compared to that, Katerea's revenge now seemed like a child's tantrum, easily crushed in Tenra's palm.

Every gaze burned—joy, awe, devotion, and something deeper. Yubelluna and her fellow servants brimmed with pride, honored to follow a master who could reshape the world.

Tenra dismissed his armor, gently soothing Ile and Nel as they clung to him, then turned to the others. "Sorry for worrying you, Rias, Akeno… everyone."

"Hmph. Some people should know better," Akeno teased, folding her arms.

"Ara ara, Tenra always says the same things. He's so sly," murmured Yubelluna, eyes sparkling.

"Tenra-sama, you were incredible!" chimed Tosca, her voice bright with admiration.

Across the room, Serafall nudged Sona. "Sona-chan, isn't the Red Dragon Emperor your friend too? Aren't you going over?"

Sona adjusted her glasses, deadpan. "What, you want me to go?"

"Of course not! Sona-chan only needs her big sister. I'll protect you myself!" Serafall declared, waving her magical staff with theatrical flourish.

Sona sighed. Big sister was at it again. She tuned out Serafall's voice, her gaze lingering on Tenra. Behind her glasses, her eyes glimmered with complicated emotion. Miracles upon miracles… Kamiyo Tenra, just what kind of man are you?

Sirzechs, Michael, and Azazel approached, prompting Yubelluna and the girls to step aside.

"Tenra-kun, congratulations. That was a duel for the ages," Sirzechs said warmly.

"You flatter me, Sirzechs-sama. I'm still far from your level," Tenra replied, shaking his head.

He was being modest, but the truth was clear: after fusing the powers of Two Heavens, Tenra's strength had soared. Only Sirzechs, a true transcendent, might stand above him now. Against Michael, Azazel, Serafall, even Grayfia—Tenra felt ready for anyone.

"Kamiyo Tenra, you're the first in history to wield both dragons' power. Please use it wisely," Michael said.

"I will, Michael-sama." Tenra nodded. Michael was a good man—maybe a bit preachy, but sincere.

Of course, how he'd use the dragons' power was entirely up to him.

Azazel clapped Tenra on the shoulder, laughing. "Kid, I don't bow to gods—but I'll bow to you. You're a real monster, haha!"

Tenra's eye twitched. Only Azazel would dare say something like that. No wonder he'd fallen from grace. He glanced at Michael, who could only offer a helpless smile.

"Kid, I'm dying to study that Sacred Gear of yours. What do you say? Name your price."

Azazel's eyes gleamed. He meant Sacred Gear Plunder, of course. But Tenra didn't hesitate.

"Not a chance."

He might let Azazel examine Boosted Gear or Divine Dividing—but Sacred Gear Plunder was off-limits. It was his foundation, tied to secrets of his very existence in this world. He couldn't risk anyone else learning its mysteries.

Azazel shrugged, unfazed. He'd asked on a whim, never really expecting Tenra to agree.

With the main threats handled, Sirzechs and the others left a contingent of angels, devils, and fallen angels to clean up, then returned to the newly restored Kuoh Academy to finalize the three-faction peace treaty.

Katerea's punishment was raised. As the mastermind behind the summit attack and a descendant of the old Leviathan, she should have been handed over to the Underworld. But Tenra had subdued her, and his new power commanded respect—even Sirzechs, Michael, and Azazel tacitly allowed Tenra to decide her fate, though they insisted he report any intel about the Khaos Brigade.

By the time Tenra returned home, midnight was near.

What had started as a simple summit had spiraled into chaos. Tenra was exhausted, but so were Rias and the girls.

In the luxurious bathroom, Tenra reclined with eyes half-closed as Tosca gently wiped him down. Before him, Mihae knelt, devoted and focused, taking him into her mouth with practiced care.

Mihae was the epitome of the ideal Japanese beauty—gentle, elegant, the school's goddess and top wife candidate. If the boys at school saw her now, their jaws would hit the floor.

"You're getting better, Mihae," Tenra murmured, stroking her cheek in praise.

She swallowed, cleaned him thoroughly, then stood with shy pride. Under Tenra's guidance, she truly was improving…

Tenra tied his robe, slipped an arm around each girl's waist, and left the bathroom, yawning and ready to sleep. But Rias's voice called from outside.

"Tenra, are you still awake?"

He opened the door. Rias stood there, freshly bathed, wrapped in a pale red nightgown.

"Rias, what is it?" Tenra asked, curiosity piqued.

Rias hesitated, glancing at Tosca and Mihae, cheeks blooming with color. The bold, confident Rias was suddenly shy, words caught in her throat.

"Tenra-sama, we'll head to our own rooms tonight," Tosca said gently. Mihae nodded, and the two girls slipped out, sharing a knowing smile.

It seemed they wouldn't be needed tonight.

"Rias, you can say it now, can't you?" Tenra teased, a quiet anticipation stirring in his chest.

Rias drew a deep breath, her eyes shimmering with resolve. She stepped forward—once, twice—then, without warning, threw her arms around Tenra.
