I decided to stay in the room while letting Canto create a detailed map of this place. If this place runs out of power, Canto cannot help me much. For now, she will create a detailed map from the Cyberspace Fortress she created to block the viruses.
It will take a few hours to go down, ten hours at the fastest, and she will use the time to create a detailed map for me to use and gather all valuable things she can get from the system. She can no longer watch from the hidden cameras, but at least I have a map that knows where I am going.
While waiting, I decide to roll something. Let's hope Rob is willing to give me something good. Something that will help me fight in the darkness or let me open the closed door because Canto cannot hack the door and open it for me.
I pray to Rob and press the roll button. I wait for a few seconds before a hologram appears in front of me.
[Immutable]
Rare Trait
Your body refuses to change. You are incredibly resistant to abilities that would try to change; anyone trying to change you without your consent has to wrestle control over you first. Abilities like rot or wither inducement, sickness inducement, biokinesis, etc., are automatically resisted.
This is great, and I will not complain about it. It will help me in my current situation, but it will help me in the long run because this place is full of Nurgle's worshippers. The ability to resist rot alone is something great for anyone in this world.
I press the roll button once again and wait for a new power to appear.
[Assembly]
Elite Ability
It allows you to automatically assemble any parts you have access to into any item you have created or built with your own hands before, or know how it's made. You can also create lesser versions of the items if the materials you have are subpar.
This is great. With Canto gathering all important things like a blueprint or something that will help me, I can use this power to create them without manually creating them by hand. At least it will help me create weapons like swords or machetes.
I press the roll button and use the last Golden Ticket.
[Tinker - Ecology]
Rare Ability
It allows you to build, construct, and design contraptions or machines that deal with nature, utilizing, helping, and benefiting from it. You can create Bio-Domes, incredibly efficient fertilizers, animal lures and foods, very efficient solar panels and geothermal reactors, terraforming equipment, and much more.
I look at the new power in shock because this is something that we need. The solar panels will be very useful, and the terraforming techs will be perfect for growing things. Combine it with my [Bountiful Harvest] power that lets me summon vegetables and fruits, and I can immediately plant foods.
I give a quick prayer to Rob to thank him and use the Diamond Ticket.
[No Peeking]
Epic Trait
Information Gathering doesn't work against you, scrying spells fall apart, precognition fails, and cameras stop recording.
This is… perfect! I prefer something that increases my fighting chance, but this one is perfect! I only have a year of protection against the scrying and precognition from the Chaos Gods, and with this, I have a chance of them ignoring me.
I don't know if this will work against them, but it is better than nothing.
I can take a lot of material from the hangar and the recycling factory, then create something out of it using my [Assembly] and [Tinker: Ecology] powers.
"Canto, are you done?"
{Yes, Kael. I am done. You can pull your hand away from the computer.}
I nod and leave the room. It is time to return and use my new power. However, I need to get something first. I need to get tools that I can use to make other things.
"Canto, can you search for places that contain tools for me to use?"
{There are a few rooms you can visit, Kael. The nearest one is two kilometers away from you. It is some kind of shrine containing a lot of tools and machines. There are even weapons inside the room.}
Shrine, huh? That means it is a Mechanicus shrine. That means there are a lot of things inside the room I can use.
"Perfect. Show me the way."

3rd POV
"And how do you think we can do that, Enginseer Kayex?"
Interrogator Rannick looks at the Enginseer of the Adeptus Mechanicus in front of him. He is the leader of the warband inside the Mourningstar, a heavily armed Firestorm Class Frigate, above Atoma Prime.
Inquisitor Grendyl is the one creating this warband to take care of the problem in the Atoma Prime. However, he needs his full attention inside the hive city to break the cultists from the inside. Because of this, he gave his full authority to Interrogator Rannick.
"We have a Heretek on the planet, and they try to infect the children of the Omnissiah! Do you know what would happen if they infect the Children of the Omnissiah? The entire city will plunge into darkness!"
Rannick releases a sigh and says.
"And once again, what do you want me to do, Enginseer? We don't have enough crew to take care of the problem. Atoma Prime is in full civil war. Out of the five Hive Cities, three of them are in full revolt. There is a reason why Inquisitor Grendyl declared this world a War World. We need all the regimens to fight in the open battle, and we are here, attacking the important group through stealth groups and regimens."
Rannick stands up from his chair and continues.
"However, you are right. We cannot have a Heretek spreading their foul machinery in there. Do you know the identity of this Heretek, Enginseer?"
"Sadly, I've yet to know the identity of this Heretek. However, Artisan Hadron Omega–7–7 is currently performing the ritual of scrying through the dying Machine Spirits to know the person who tried to taint it."
"So, we have nothing."
Rannick releases a sigh and looks at his minion, Explicator Zola, the native of Hive Tertium.
"We will use your Strike Team, Zola. Send Darktide 7."
"Yes, My Lord!"
"Good."
He then looks at Kayex and says.
"As for you… Make sure that the team is equipped with the best weaponry, okay? They are now in your hands, and their success depends on you, Enginseer."
Kayex nods his head and prepares to leave. However, before he can take one step, Rannick calls him.
"Ah, before you go. I need you to monitor them personally. We don't want them to run away. Zola might trust them, but I am not."
Kayex nods and leaves the meeting room without saying more words.

For you guys who don't know, I took a loan to pay for all the funeral expenses, and I need to pay quite a bit for the first installment. I don't have enough money to pay for rent, the electric bill, and food, alongside that monthly payment. I need your help to pay for the first few payments so I have enough savings to pay the rest without risking my family and me going starving or not paying rent.
For anyone who wants to help me, you can go to my Ko-fi: Ko-fi.com/fangrove
I post the Warhammer: Darktide fanfic there as well.
