"Oh oh oh oh!!!!"

The guy who sprang out of the shadows roared and slammed Kevin to the ground.

He wrapped his arms around Kevin's waist, rolling with him on the floor, finally pinning Kevin down and raising his red iron fists, striking hard at Kevin.

The punch was powerful and heavy, descending with enough force to split mountains and crack stones, aimed at Kevin's head.

Thud!!

But the punch didn't land.

At the crucial moment, Kevin crossed his arms in front of him, blocking the guy's powerful blow.

The crossed wrists and fists collided, making a dull thud.

Then Kevin exerted force, bending his right leg and kneeing the man in the back, flipping him to the ground.

That wasn't all; while flipping the brute, Kevin also raised his right fist high and brought it down hard, hitting the man squarely in the face.

Kevin's strike didn't have much force; he judged from the force with which this person had collided with him that the opponent could withstand his powerful blow.

With just that one hit, the red figure completely collapsed.

"The… Drax the Destroyer?!"

The exchange between Kevin and the red figure had lasted only a dozen seconds.

When it was all over, the surrounding criminals finally recognized who the guy was who had suddenly appeared to attack Kevin and then been knocked down by Kevin.

It was none other than the powerhouse of this prison, Drax the Destroyer.

"Oh, it's you."

Having dealt with his opponent, Kevin also recognized who this sudden attacker was.

With his entirely red skin, bare upper body, sturdy physique, and a seemingly dim-witted, idiotic look, he was Drax, one of the future powerhouses of the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Seeing that it was Drax, Kevin understood why the other party was able to knock him to the ground.

After all, with Kevin's current physique, even if Gamora and others tried to collide with him, his body might not budge.

Only someone with a physique close to Kevin's could knock Kevin to the ground.

Drax might not seem to have much use in the movie, but in fact, his physical strength is much greater than that of ordinary modified aliens.

At least, defending against regular bullets should be no problem.

He has great strength, and his recovery speed also seems to be fast.

He could be said to be a Supe specializing in physical combat.

While he certainly wouldn't compare to Homelander or Maeve in the The Boys world, he would definitely far surpass ordinary people, and even surpass Gamora, who had undergone some physical modifications, standing nearby.

And this is only the Drax of the movie universe; I heard that Drax in the comics is even more terrifying, even having the achievement of personally killing Thanos.

Hmm, only in the comics.

"Why did you attack me?"

Kevin got up, stepping on Drax's body as he questioned him.

Kevin hadn't used too much force in that punch; with Drax's physical quality, it was probably just a momentary dizzying of the head.

He hadn't fainted, so he could hear Kevin's current question.

"You and that woman are with them! And that woman! Is my enemy!!!"

Drax roared from under Kevin's foot.

While roaring, Drax, with unknown strength, broke free from under Kevin's foot, rolled on the ground, grabbed a nearby dagger, and charged at Kevin again.

But this time, Kevin didn't meet Drax head-on.

He merely waved his hand at Drax, spreading his fingers, and this famous Destroyer was distorted into a pretzel by the shower's water streams, unable to move.

"Say that again, who is your enemy?"

Faced with the straightforward Drax, Kevin felt deeply helpless.

Drax roared:

"Ronan!! Ronan killed my family! Killed my daughter! And she is Ronan's subordinate! You are her subordinate!! So you all must die!!"

"I say, big dummy, look at our positions again. Who do you think is whose subordinate between the two of us?"

Kevin pointed to Gamora standing behind him, rolling his eyes as he asked.

Drax, who was struggling, froze at this sight. He looked at Kevin, then at Gamora, and came to a rather 'clever' conclusion.

"She… is your subordinate?"

Drax reached his conclusion. Before Kevin could speak, Gamora frowned and said:

"I am no one's subordinate, and I have no relation to him!"

"So you are still Ronan's subordinate!"

"I have no relation to Ronan either! I betrayed him, you idiot!!"

"Then you're still his subordinate! You're all Ronan's subordinates! I'm going to kill you all!!"

Drax, enraged, let out an unheeding roar.

Kevin rubbed his forehead. He simply used water to plug Drax's mouth, then turned to Gamora and said:

"Madam, is there something wrong with your head too? You know that people of his race are single-minded and can't turn two corners, yet you're still contradicting me at a time like this?"

Perhaps it was out of fear of Kevin's strength, or perhaps Gamora knew she was in the wrong, but this time she didn't argue with Kevin. Instead, she turned her head away and stopped looking at Kevin.

Rolling his eyes again, Kevin then spoke seriously to Drax:

"I am not Ronan's subordinate, and this person is also not Ronan's subordinate. You heard it, she betrayed Ronan, so we have absolutely no relation to Ronan! Don't come looking for trouble with us anymore, okay? If it's okay, nod your head. I don't want to kill anyone in prison."

Kevin spoke very slowly, almost like an adult teaching a child to speak.

And there was no circumlocution in between; he clearly clarified the relationship between himself, Gamora, and Ronan. Barring any accidents, Drax should have been able to understand.

Fortunately, no accidents occurred. After listening to Kevin's words, the anger in Drax's eyes gradually subsided.

He thought quietly for a while before slowly nodding to Kevin, indicating that he understood Kevin's meaning.

Kevin then waved his hand, removing the water streams and letting Drax down.

After releasing the Destroyer from his restraints, Kevin waited quietly for a while. When Drax, holding his dagger, turned and walked away in a daze, and Kevin confirmed that he wouldn't attack him again, he finally breathed a sigh of relief.

To be honest, Kevin didn't want to stir up any trouble right now.

His objective from start to finish was very clear: obtain the cosmic orb, take it to the Collector to open it, retrieve the power stone inside, and grasp it with his hand to complete the skill tree's specialization quest.

Finally, complete the quest and successfully return to his own world.

Therefore, during this period, Kevin never intended to change anything in this world; his objective had always been just one.

To follow the plot.

Wait for Rocket to break out of prison together, wait for Gamora to lead the way to Knowhere to meet the Collector—it was that simple.

So Kevin had no need to kill anyone here.

This was also the reason Kevin let Drax go.

With Drax, the strongest one, already gone, the remaining small-fry criminals didn't dare to provoke Kevin, the new great demon king who had replaced Drax, and they scurried out of the shower room.

After everyone had left, Star-Lord and the others, who had been hiding, emerged from the corner.

"Wow, dude! You were really cool just now! 'Yes, or no, think before you speak.'

"Holy moly! Bro, let's team up and conquer the universe together after we get out of prison! I think we can definitely become the most famous Ravagers in the universe!"

Star-Lord immediately threw an arm around Kevin's shoulder, excitedly saying.

Kevin disdainfully pushed Star-Lord's hand away.

Being around an idiot for too long always felt like catching idiocy. Unless absolutely necessary, Kevin didn't want to be too close to Star-Lord. What if he got infected and became stupid?

He led everyone out of the shower room and back to their cell, then said to Star-Lord:

"Alright, now she's been rescued. Ask whatever you want to ask."

After speaking, Kevin implemented his lie-flat policy, directly lying on the bed as if he had no relation to the matter whatsoever.

Star-Lord's gaze shifted from Kevin. Although he really wanted Kevin to be his enforcer… cough no, wrong, to be his Ravager brother to conquer the universe together.

But for now, money seemed more important.

So after Kevin spoke, Star-Lord cleared his throat and immediately asked Gamora:

"Ahem, we heard that you know how to sell the cosmic orb?"

"Heard? Your information is quite well-informed."

As she spoke, Gamora glanced at Kevin on the bed. She seemed to guess that Kevin had told Star-Lord all of this.

After mockingly saying something to Star-Lord, Gamora continued:

"Yes, I do know how to sell this orb, but we're all in prison right now, so what good does knowing this do you?"

Gamora asked the same question as Kevin.

And Star-Lord and Rocket repeated the answer they had given Kevin earlier today.

"Prison break. Rocket can help us break out, so you just need to tell us how much this orb can sell for."

Star-Lord cared deeply about this.

After all, if this orb wasn't valuable, Rocket would probably really send him to Yondu after leaving.

Only if this orb was very valuable, valuable enough for Star-Lord to pay his ransom, could Star-Lord truly be free.

Hearing Star-Lord's question, Gamora looked around at everyone present and calmly uttered a number:

"Four billion."

"What!?"

"WTF…"

"I am Groot…"

Upon hearing this astronomical figure, Star-Lord and the two others expressed their shock in their own ways.

Four billion interstellar credits, what kind of concept was that?

Kevin might not understand, but Star-Lord knew it very well.

For example, Star-Lord's beloved ship, the Milan, if everything on the ship, including the ship itself, was sold, it would only amount to less than thirty thousand interstellar credits!

Yet now someone was offering four billion interstellar credits to buy such an orb!?

Four billion for an orb!!

Literally buying an orb!!

After Gamora finished speaking, she was quiet for a moment, giving everyone time to digest the bombshell news.

A moment later, she continued:

"If you can help me escape, once we're out, I'll contact the buyer to make the transaction. At that time, we'll split the four billion among us."

"Oh, you know what, that's the most constructive proposal I've ever heard in my life!"

After exclaiming, Star-Lord excitedly looked at everyone:

"It's decided, everyone! As soon as we leave prison, we'll immediately look for the buyer! Then we'll be the richest people in the universe!"

"So where is that buyer… Knowhere?"

Compared to Star-Lord, Rocket was much calmer. He recalled the place name Kevin had mentioned earlier, raising an eyebrow at Gamora.

Gamora was stunned for a moment:

"Who told you about that place?"

"The kid playing with water told us. He knows who wants to buy the Orb, but he doesn't know where the buyer is, which is why we rescued you."

The kid playing with water.

Hearing Rocket say that, Gamora looked at Kevin again and said meaningfully:

"You know quite a lot."

"It's alright, just a little more than you all."

Kevin closed his eyes, pinching his thumb and forefinger together, then kicked Star-Lord, who was closest to him, and said:

"Now that we've discussed everything, all of you get out and don't disturb my rest."

According to Xandar's time, it was already late at night, and most of the criminals were already asleep. Only this lively bunch was still making a ruckus here.

But no matter how lively they were, they still needed to rest.

Otherwise, how would they have the energy to break out of prison?
