The power of a Skyfather-level expert was truly terrifying.
"Why isn't it Jarvis?" Tony Stark, watching from outside the screen, noticed the AI wasn't Jarvis.
He was a little puzzled. He'd used Jarvis for years and hadn't considered switching AI.
And there was no need. After all, it was data, not subject to a human lifespan.
With sufficient computing power, he could even create millions of avatars to handle millions of tasks.
So, the fact that the AI was Friday and not Jarvis was what puzzled Tony Stark the most.
In the scene, after Tony Stark had been knocked out first, Thor followed, wielding Stormbreaker and trying to fight Thanos. But it was useless. The three of them, giving it their all, couldn't beat Thanos, let alone when he was alone.
The Stormbreaker he summoned, he wanted to use it to seriously injure the young Thanos, just like he had done to the old Thanos. But it didn't work. This time, Thanos wouldn't be as careless as before.
He directly caught the Stormbreaker, then forcibly suppressed it, using it to slowly bring the axe down towards Thor.
Thor desperately resisted, but the axe blade of the Stormbreaker was still being pushed down bit by bit, and he couldn't resist it at all.
Just as Thor was about to be killed by Thanos, the Mjolnir suddenly seemed to be summoned by someone. It was responding to someone's call.
A moment later, everyone saw the Mjolnir directly interrupt Thanos' attack. They finally saw that the person summoning the Mjolnir was none other than Captain Rogers.
He was panting heavily, holding the Mjolnir and the Vibranium Shield, staring intently at Thanos.
Seeing that Captain Rogers could actually summon his Mjolnir, Thor himself wasn't angry, but rather had a look of pleasant surprise. He said, "I knew it, I knew it!"
However, as soon as he finished speaking, Thanos stomped on his face, and he passed out.
With Thor's physique, it's no exaggeration to say he's made of steel. To be stomped unconscious with a single kick demonstrates Thanos's terrifying strength.
Meanwhile, the Thor watching the screen was just realizing that Lin Feng's diary had mentioned how Captain Rogers, who appeared unable to lift Mjolnir, was secretly practicing Combo/Combination Attacks.
In the scene, Thanos charged at Captain Rogers with a weapon, and Captain Rogers displayed unbelievable strength. He used Mjolnir to unleash a beautiful Combo/Combination Attacks attack, suppressing Thanos for a moment and even giving him a beating.
Everyone then remembered Lin Feng's assessment of Captain Rogers as a master of combat, proficient in various cold weapons.
They were finally seeing his fighting skills.
His only problem was that he was just a human. Even with some modifications, he was still an ordinary person. His skills were useless against Thanos's overwhelming power.
But when he picked up Mjolnir, everything changed. As Odin's spell dictated, whoever could wield Mjolnir would possess Thor's power.
Although it was only the Thor from his early days, his strength was still far superior to the current Captain Rogers.
The combined power of the original Thor and Captain Rogers' peak combat skills resulted in such an astonishing performance.
It was a truly inspiring and exhilarating scene.
However, everyone's gaze at Captain Rogers was a bit strange, giving off a vibe of, "Chang Wei, you said you don't know martial arts?"
Oh wait, that's not it. It's more like, "Captain, the imperial army sent me..."
No, that's not the right version either. It's like, "Captain, you're telling me you weren't secretly practicing Combo/Combination Attacks?"
Captain Rogers was also quite embarrassed. He didn't know what was going on either. He had no idea how he'd become so proficient at using Combo/Combination Attacks.
But at least he knew that he wasn't that kind of person. He was a good guy.
A pure, twenty-four karat good guy.
But wouldn't this make him seem really sneaky?
And couldn't that be his normal operating procedure? After all, even Lin Feng acknowledged his combat talent.
In the palace of Asgard, Odin watched this scene with great emotion. He then said to Thor, "See that? Learn from it. You've been using Mjolnir for hundreds of years, and you're not even as proficient as he is. You're several levels below him!"
"You haven't truly unleashed the full power of Mjolnir because you were born a god, a god with immense power. You've grown accustomed to relying on your strength to defeat your enemies. While your power means there aren't many in the universe who can match you, that won't work when you face someone with similar or even greater strength. Your combat skills are too crude!"
Odin said with a serious expression. Indeed, Thor wasn't exactly negligent in his martial arts training, but he still thought that martial arts were sufficient as long as they were good enough. With the immense power of Mjolnir, he had always been invincible throughout the years.
Because most enemies were helpless against Mjolnir.
So, for the most part, it was truly enough.
The difference wasn't obvious in normal times, but it became clear when compared to Captain Rogers. He climbed from the weakest level, and only by constantly honing his combat skills could he survive in battle.
After all, he was just a mortal. A single shot or a sword to a vital point would be fatal to him; he had little room for error.
Thor nodded, admitting that he was indeed far behind Captain Rogers in this regard. He'd never truly met a real opponent. He was a genuine god, and from a young age, few in Asgard were stronger than him. Even using just a fraction of his bloodline's power made him a high-level expert, capable of shaking the universe.
He'd never encountered a decent adversary.
That's why he dared to lead a small group to burst in and take down Laufey, the Frost Giant leader, to display his might. He overestimated himself and almost got completely overwhelmed.
Now, he saw how terrifying so many powerful experts were. Thanos, in particular, could easily beat him even after he had increased his strength.
It was like a strong man beating a three-year-old child; a piece of cake.
It was easy to bully weaker enemies with his powerful godly strength, but against a formidable being like Thanos, his small tricks were useless.
Because the limit of his power was there. If he had a hundred points of strength, he might only be able to use eighty, or perhaps even seventy.
In contrast, Captain Rogers, if he had a hundred points of strength, could unleash one hundred and twenty, even one hundred and fifty points of combat power. This was a skill that even Odin admired.
Of course, against an absolute power advantage, these fancy combat skills are completely useless.
"No wonder Lin Feng calls him a 'fifty-fifty'," Thor was much more humble now. He realized that perhaps his father's assessment of him, and Lin Feng's evaluation in his diary, might be correct.
He wasn't a proper Thor, but a Hammer God.
Hammer God Thor!
This nickname was really a bit harsh.
It wasn't even as good as the future, fat, slob version of himself; at least that version had truly developed his own Thor essence. Even without Mjolnir, he was a genuine Thor.
But without Mjolnir, his combat effectiveness would plummet.
"But how long has he been practicing those Combo/Combination Attacks? How is he so familiar with them? He can even use Mjolnir to release lightning..." Thor muttered quietly.
The Combo/Combination Attacks displayed by Captain Rogers didn't seem random at all; it was likely the result of countless hours of practice.
However, the others didn't have much time to dwell on this, because Thanos, after being stunned by Captain Rogers' Combo/Combination Attacks, was completely enraged.
The enraged Thanos was even more terrifying. He directly slashed Captain Rogers, even knocking the Mjolnir out of his hand. Then, he ferociously attacked Captain Rogers.
And the Vibranium Shield, which was almost indestructible, was like paper in Thanos' hands, cracking with the first blow. Then came blow after blow, completely destroying the Vibranium Shield.
Watching this scene, Tony Stark's eyelids twitched, because he currently possessed the Vibranium Shield. More accurately, it was the unfinished project his father had left behind that he was responsible for completing.
He had tested all sorts of data; it was practically indestructible, more than capable of withstanding the direct explosion of a missile.
He couldn't imagine what could destroy the Vibranium Shield!
And now, this was happening. It was being destroyed, chop by chop, by Thanos.
Clearly, the material of the double-bladed sword in Thanos's hands was even stronger than Vibranium.
Captain Rogers was directly blasted away, his entire body feeling as if it had been dismantled. He tried to stand up bit by bit, trying to continue fighting. He exerted all his strength, but just standing up at this moment was already incredibly difficult.
He didn't know how many cracks there were in the bones all over his body.
Luckily, he had been modified with the Super Soldier Serum. If it were an ordinary person, their body would have already suffered a comminuted fracture at this point.
