Hazel's POV
"I-I don't know what to say," I stammered, my voice trembling. "I-I didn't do it, I swear."
"Do not lie to me," He said, my voice low and dangerous. "I will not accept anything but the truth."
"I'm not lying!" I cried, my eyes wide with panic.
"I swear, I didn't do it!"
He stood up, his eyes narrowing.
"I will give you one more chance to tell me the truth," He added, his voice filled with terror. "But if you lie to me again, there will be consequences."
Tears started to form in my eyes, and I shook my head in despair. "I don't know what to say," Iwhispered, my voice breaking. "I'm telling the truth, I swear it. I didn't do it."
We all knew that I was not telling the truth and I could only figure out why. It was because I had her accomplices with me which was why I didn't confess the truth to anybody.
