Chapter 86 – The God of the Shinobi World Descends

"A gift?"

"This."

Hatake Yusuke held out a small snail in his hand.

"A... snail?"

Tsunade tilted her head in curiosity, staring at the strange creature.

"This isn't just any snail," Yusuke replied with a slight smile.

"It's called a Den-Den Mushi. No matter how far apart we are, I'll be able to hear your voice through this."

He patiently taught her how to use it.

"That's incredible!"

Tsunade's eyes sparkled, clearly impressed.

"If you're ever in danger, use it to call me right away," Yusuke said gently.

"Mm~ Got it," Tsunade replied with a sweet wink.

Over the past few days, Yusuke had stayed by Tsunade's side. But what he had done during that time was already spreading like wildfire across the shinobi world—sending shockwaves through all Five Great Nations.

Kirigakure, the Village Hidden in the Mist

"Mizukage-sama!"

A shinobi rushed into the office in a panic.

"Calm yourself," said the Third Mizukage, frowning.

"Urgent news... Sunagakure has been destroyed!"

"What!?"

The Mizukage shot up from his seat, stunned.

"Who... who did this? No—wait... it can't be... That person couldn't possibly still be alive..." he muttered, his thoughts racing.

"According to the report... it was Konoha's rising star. They're calling him the White Shura..."

The ninja's face had turned pale with fear.

"White Shura...?"

The Mizukage's voice trailed off. His mind wandered to the image of a silver-haired boy, a sword on his back, effortlessly suppressing prodigies from all four other nations in a single duel.

"To think that boy... grew into something this powerful," he whispered, brows knitted.

And the other Kage from the major nations? They too were shaken.

None of them had imagined that the young shinobi they once dismissed as "ordinary" would grow into a force of terror. Especially Ōnoki, the Tsuchikage of Iwagakure—he shivered at the memory of a white-haired man who once appeared in his village. Even with the combined might of their entire village, they couldn't bring him down.

That man... was likely the same White Shura.

Meanwhile, in Konohagakure

"Hokage-sama! A classified report from Sunagakure!"

"Read it," ordered Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage.

The ninja stepped forward. "According to the intel... Kazekage Rasa led an assault against Konoha's forces. Lady Tsunade was severely injured and is currently unconscious. Jiraiya-sama sustained light wounds. However, following that..."

The shinobi hesitated, eyes wide.

"Continue," Hiruzen said sternly, raising an eyebrow. He clearly didn't take Tsunade's injury lightly.

"After learning of the incident, Hatake Yusuke immediately retaliated. He gravely injured the Fourth Kazekage and annihilated his entire army. But that's not all..."

The messenger paused, swallowing hard.

"Yusuke-sama... completely destroyed the entire village of Sunagakure. Civilian and shinobi casualties were massive. Their military strength is estimated to have dropped by more than half."

"What...!?"

Koharu Utatane gasped, cold sweat forming on her brow. For the first time, she fully understood the terrifying weight of Yusuke's existence.

Even Homura Mitokado stood in stunned silence. Though he had never directly opposed the boy, he never expected Yusuke to go this far.

"This child... he's bold. And decisively so,"

Hiruzen spoke, no hint of surprise in his voice. He had suspected Yusuke would take extreme action the moment he heard of Tsunade's injury. What he hadn't expected... was total annihilation of an entire Hidden Village.

Though Sunagakure might recover eventually, especially with their golden sand reserves...

To the other great nations, this wasn't just physical destruction—it was psychological warfare. The morale-shattering kind. Even civilians had become collateral.

"That's enough. You may leave. I doubt Sunagakure will dare move again after this," Hiruzen said quietly.

"Yes, Hokage-sama."

"That boy... he's become something far greater than I imagined,"

Homura muttered.

"Indeed..."

Hiruzen exhaled deeply.

"Spread my command. From now on, the Hatake clan is to be honored by all senior officials. They are to be involved in all major decisions. Any act of disrespect against them will be treated as treason against the village."

"You can't be serious, Hiruzen!"

Koharu's voice shot up instinctively.

"Silence."

Homura turned to her, sharp and cold.

"You—Homura!?"

"Koharu... you still don't understand, do you?"

Homura's voice was firm.

"This isn't just about Konoha anymore. The entire shinobi world can no longer stop Hatake Yusuke. He's become something else—a god among shinobi. Even if Hiruzen didn't issue that order, no one would dare stand against him now."

"A... god of the shinobi world..."

Koharu's voice trembled.

"That's right," said Hiruzen solemnly. "If he wanted, he could end this war alone. That's the weight carried by the name Hatake... That's the weight of a god."

"Homura, I entrust this task to you. Make sure every council member shows the same respect to Yusuke... as they do to me."

"Understood, Hokage-sama."

Elsewhere…

"So that boy... really did destroy Sunagakure..."

Yuhi Shinku spoke in disbelief.

"He wasn't bluffing, after all. He really has that kind of power..."

Beside him, Hatake Sakumo stood silently, eyes lifted to the sky.

In the current shinobi world, only a select few dared refer to Yusuke as "that boy."

"If Tsunade hadn't been critically wounded, he probably wouldn't have gone this far," Sakumo said softly.

To obliterate an entire Hidden Village... just how furious had Yusuke been?

Shinku remained speechless. The boy who was once cheerful and mischievous... had become a force of nature.

"Maybe it's time I return and speak with him," Sakumo murmured.

"Sakumo... are you thinking of asking Yusuke to intervene in this war?" Shinku asked.

"No. He's already made it clear—he doesn't want to get involved. I doubt I can change his mind. I just want to ask... if he'd at least help Konoha, even a little. Just enough to spare more lives."

"Then it's worth a try."

Shinku nodded quietly, recalling the overwhelming power he had witnessed before.

"But... even that might be too much to ask. I may not be able to sway him either."

"You think... he still holds a grudge?"

"He does. Yusuke has always been mature for his age. Friendly to everyone. But he has one unbreakable rule—don't hurt the people he cares about. Cross that line, and..."

Sakumo didn't finish his sentence.

"If you had truly died back then... what do you think he would've done?" Shinku asked.

"Maybe... for Kakashi's sake, he would've held back. But I'm sure of one thing—he'd never forgive Konoha."

Sakumo clenched his fists.

If Yusuke had possessed this level of power back then... Konoha might've been buried alongside my corpse.
