Chapter 85 – The Destruction of Sunagakure
"Did you really think you could seal me?"
Hatake Yusuke burst through the barrier with overwhelming force. His body slowly rose into the sky, his sharp gaze locked onto Shukaku from above.
"This... this can't be..."
Shukaku's voice trembled as disbelief took hold.
"A lowly creature like you... who gave you the guts to stand against me?" Yusuke said coldly, a trace of mockery in his tone.
"Damn you! Wind Release: Drilling Air Bullet!"
Shukaku formed a rapid hand seal and fired a spinning mass of compressed air directly at Yusuke.
But Yusuke was faster.
In one fluid motion, he unsheathed the blade Enma and slashed toward the incoming beast.
Shukaku's arm was sliced clean off—but the Tailed Beast quickly reconstructed it with sand.
"Oh? So your body structure works similar to the Sand-Sand Fruit, huh..." Yusuke murmured, intrigued.
"Ryūō."
With calm precision, Yusuke infused Enma with advanced Armament Haki. His next swing tore through the air like a divine judgment.
Sensing immense danger, Shukaku erected a massive sand shield.
But it was useless. The defense was no match for a master swordsman empowered by Ryūō and the cursed sword Enma. The shield shattered instantly, and the slash ripped straight through Shukaku's chest.
"GAAARRHH! It... hurts!!"
For the first time in his existence, Shukaku was unable to regenerate.
"You little—! Die!!"
Enraged, Shukaku began charging a monstrous mass of chakra in his mouth. A swirling sphere of Yin and Yang chakra—Tailed Beast Bomb.
At the same time, Rasa channeled his own chakra. From behind him, golden sand surged with an ominous gleam.

Yusuke glared at the sphere of energy, then unleashed one more punch from his right hand.
The space around him trembled.

"What...?!"
Terror filled Shukaku's eyes. Rasa's expression went pale, his confidence crumbling.
Yusuke remained calm, staring down at them both.
"Well, you're a crucial piece of the Ten Tails Project. So I'll let you live... for now," he muttered.

A pulse of invisible willpower exploded from Yusuke.
Shukaku instantly collapsed to his knees, trembling violently. Not even Uchiha Obito at his peak could dominate the Kyūbi so easily—and yet Yusuke's aura was even more terrifying.
In the shinobi world, only Madara and Hashirama could compare.
Yusuke's Haki had surpassed even the Pirate Emperors of another world. A Tailed Beast like Shukaku had no defense against such overwhelming mental pressure.
"W-Who... are you...?"
Shukaku's voice shook. The aura reminded him of Hashirama, but even more dreadful. Hashirama couldn't destroy him—but Yusuke could.
"You sure talk a lot for a beast," Yusuke said, narrowing his eyes.
"Rasa. If you've got no other tricks, then prepare to die. You and your army will fall here... and I'll personally erase Sunagakure."
Before Rasa could respond, Yusuke erased the remaining jōnin in a single sweep. Not one was spared.
"No! Stop! Please!"
Rasa screamed, his bloodshot eyes wide in horror. He tried to block the slaughter with his gold dust—but it was useless.
"Why... why... you monster..."
He dropped to his knees, tears streaming down his face.
"Don't act like I'm the villain here."
Yusuke's voice was calm, but sharp like a blade. "I warned your village. You ignored me. You let your pride cloud your judgment. You thought that just because you're the Kazekage, the world had to bow before you?"
"In this world, every misfortune... every failure... comes from weakness. If you want someone to blame, blame yourself for being weak."
Yusuke's eyes were filled with icy calm.
A circle of light formed on his fingertip. Without hesitation, he shattered all four of Rasa's limbs.
"Kill me already..."
Rasa's broken body collapsed, barely conscious.
"Oh no, your death won't be that easy," Yusuke sneered.
"Ichibi... hand over the monk."
Shukaku didn't dare resist. He quickly relinquished control, allowing Bunpuku to surface. For the Tailed Beast, hiding in a seal was safer than facing Yusuke.
Yusuke grabbed both Bunpuku and Rasa, stepping into a rift in the air. A moment later, they emerged above the skies of Sunagakure.
His eyes scanned the village below, full of hatred and contempt.
"W-What are you planning to do...?"
Bunpuku's voice was shaking.
"Just watch. This isn't a sight you'll get to see twice."
Yusuke extended both arms toward the sky—then pulled them downward.
The air shifted.
The entire landscape began to tremble. The ground beneath Sunagakure tilted violently. Then, from the surrounding desert, waves of sand surged like a tsunami, engulfing the entire village.
It was more terrifying than Pain's Shinra Tensei.
"T-This... this is the power of a god...!"
"No... stop...!"
Bunpuku and Rasa screamed. Rasa's heart filled with regret. Why hadn't he listened to Elder Chiyo? Why didn't he stop the war?
"Doesn't seem like many died..."
Yusuke scanned the area. He wasn't aiming to kill everyone—just to send a message.
The power of the Tremor-Tremor Fruit's Airquake was unmatched in destructive capability.
He looked down at the remains of Sunagakure. What once stood as one of the Five Great Nations was now reduced to rubble.
His rage slowly cooled.
"I'll let it slide... this time. But remember this lesson."
With one final glance at Rasa, Yusuke vanished.
"I... I've failed. I'm unworthy of being Kazekage..."
Rasa wept, broken.
"Kazekage-sama! The village is in ruins. If you give up now... Sunagakure is finished,"
Bunpuku urged, rising from despair.
"He's right. Even if the damage is severe... as long as a Kage stands, the village can still rise again!"
Elder Chiyo emerged from the wreckage.
Her words lit a fire in Rasa's heart.
I can't give up... Not yet. I must endure—for everyone's sake.
"Listen, everyone! This disaster... is my fault. Once this war ends, I'll make amends. As the Fourth Kazekage, I now declare: all missions related to Hatake Yusuke or anyone close to him—are strictly forbidden!"

"Tsuna... you're awake?"
He smiled as he saw Tsunade sitting up.
"Damn you... why'd you knock me out?" she said, scowling.
"Hahaha. So you could get some proper rest."
"You went to see Rasa, didn't you?"
She asked, though her tone said she already knew the answer.
"Yeah. But don't worry, I didn't kill him. Just taught him a lesson."
"Next time... don't do that again,"
Tsunade said softly. She was worried. In the desert, Rasa's power was significantly stronger—even she might've lost in a direct fight.
"Idiot. What kind of man would I be if I let you get hurt?"
Yusuke gently ran his hand through her hair.
"You always leave me speechless..."
Tsunade blushed faintly.
"Tsunade, let's go back to Konoha. As long as I'm here, no one will dare lay a finger on you."
"Don't. This is my duty. I may want to be by your side... but as the granddaughter of the First Hokage, this is my responsibility. I also want to grow stronger."
Yusuke gave a small nod.
"Alright, I understand. But promise me—whatever happens, you tell me. Don't ever act alone."
"Mm."
Her lips curled into a warm smile.
"I've got a gift for you, Tsunade,"
Yusuke said with a playful glint in his eye.
