Awakened As An Apex Archmage

Cael has poured so many hours into the massively popular VRMMO Ethereal Echoes that he has more of a life inside the game than out. It's a fitting irony, then, when one day he wakes in the body of his maxed-out demon-mage 'Caelian'—and finds that now, the game really is his life. But the world of Ethereal Echoes isn't what he remembers. A hundred years have passed since the game's concluding events, and Caelian is a hero of myth thought long dead. As he meets old faces and new in this familiar-yet-not world—casting spells of mass destruction and slowly reforming the scattered-to-the-wind remnants of his Guild—he starts to wonder if he was sent here with a purpose. Rumors of a sequel had been circulating just before his unbelievable reincarnation. Did he, perhaps, need to fear an impending Eighth Cataclysm? If so, it's a good thing he has firepower in spades.
