Do you know the primal fears?
The fears that are rooted in almost every single human being.
For example, The Fear of Death, The Fear of Darkness, The Fear of Predators, and-
The Fear of Heights.
Not everyone is afraid of heights, or falling in general.
But those who are, experience extreme fear when falling.
Rowan, Rowan Thorne never thought he'd be afraid of heights.
In fact, he believed them to be unfearful.
Who's scared of heights nowadays, anyways?
He always believed that, until now.
Reaching out to his beloved friend, as he soon plummets to the bottom of a mall.
In those few seconds, he discovered the fear of heights.
Just before his head collided with the ground, before his life flashed before his eyes- he saw a dark, yet comforting figure falling down with him.
It wasn't his friend, it was something else.
He wanted to be closer, to stop falling and to embrace that figure.
His heart raced faster than before, and he could almost touch it-
SPLAT!
"Oh my god! Oh my god, Rowan! Rowan!"
"Rowan!"
A mangled corpse, but it would suffice.
