Chapter 3 - Chapter 2 Exchange

"Oh my goodness, my baby!!!"

Aunt Grace exclaimed in surprise when she saw Fiona being helped out of the car by her friends, struggling to walk. Aunt Grace was the housekeeper who kept the house tidy and had also helped raise Fiona since she was a child.

"We're sorry, Aunt Grace said we can't drink it, so we won't."

"It's okay, dear. I understand. Let him relax a bit. I'll take care of him after."

The plump housekeeper said to the group of young women who had come to see Fiona off in a kind voice. Aunt Grace was very kind, unlike Fiona's father, "Owen," who was so strict with his daughter.

"Aunt Grace. Please take care of Fiona for us."

The group of girlfriends all raised their hands in a farewell gesture and left, leaving only Fiona, who was lying on the sofa while Aunt Grace wiped her face and body to help her sober up.

"Oh, poor Fiona."

The elderly woman looked at the young woman who was sleeping with her eyes closed with concern. The events she had experienced today were so chaotic and she didn't know when these things would end.

...........

Dylan wore an elegant suit and tie, in the style of a major company CEO, which his family had founded long ago. Today, he had to take on his first role in the company, as the head of marketing, a position for which he, a young engineering graduate, had no relevant knowledge.

"Damn it..."

The young man thought to himself as he sat in the chairman's seat of the meeting. Although he could act like a chairman, his heart was so restless that he almost wanted to run away from that place immediately.

"Hey, my dear Dylan."

One hand gently rested on his shoulder as he smoked with a deeply troubled expression on the company's rooftop. His gaze swept over the city below, a scene of chaos no less than the turmoil in his heart at that moment.

David, the twin brother, smiled mysteriously when Dylan turned to look at him. Normally, David wouldn't come over to say hello unless he had something to talk about.

"How's it going? Can you do it?"

"Well..." Dylan shook his head lightly and inhaled a puff of cigarette smoke into his lungs. This thing was probably his only friend that could help ease his distress.

"I need to talk to you."

"What's the matter?"

"Go be... a husband to my wife for me, will you?"

"What the hell is this guy talking about?"

David snatched the cigarette from Dylan's hand, dropped it to the ground, and crushed it with his foot before turning to meet his brother's gaze with a strange smile.

"I know you can't do this damn president job, Dylan... Just admit it."

"Uh... so what? I'm not as good as you are."

"I'm getting married next month, for sure... I'm being forced into it."

Dylan turned sharply to his older twin in surprise. Before a question could form, David grabbed his brother's arm and walked toward the elevator door, whose reflective surface bore the image of both of them.

The shadows of two tall, handsome men with identical features, even after 25 years, they still managed to maintain their twin-like appearance remarkably.

...the only difference will be their personalities and the glasses David is wearing...

In their entire lives, only their biological mother could separate them, but alas, their mother passed away 10 years ago.

"Aren't you afraid of getting caught?"

"No, your son is like my son."

"How?"

"In one year, Dylan had a child and then quit immediately."

"It's just having a child, why don't you do it yourself?" .

Before Dylan could finish speaking, the older man handed him his cell phone to look at the pictures. Dylan took it, confused, and scrolled through the images with his finger.

"Hey!!! Hey... is this?!?!? …"

"Yeah, I have a boyfriend, and he's not a woman."

The pictures inside are couple photos of David and his boyfriend, both in normal and publicly unrevealed states.

"Damn... you're really scrolling through everything when you get the chance, aren't you?"

David quickly grabbed the phone from Dylan's hand and put it away. The younger twin's hand remained outstretched, and he wore a look of persistent confusion.

"See, I can't sleep with women, Dylan."

"And who is the woman?"

"You don't need to know, just do as I say."

"Damn..."

"I'm not doing this for free, there's an offer, you know."

"How?"

"I'll take on the role of Dylan, the head of marketing, in addition to my current administrative duties. This is a piece of cake for me."

Of course, David-level talent can handle two jobs without missing a beat, because after all, this company belongs to them.

"Do you know? That Dylan... actually, Dad wanted to tease you. He wanted you to come back to work and stop being a playboy."

"Oh, I know..."

"Two more weeks, kid."

...David patted Dylan's shoulder lightly, feeling particularly cheerful, and walked out with a spring in his step, humming softly. He left his younger twin brother standing there alone, deep in thought, frowning and sighing...
