Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 Ancient Seal

Just as Yun Zheng was about to speak, a large hand easily lifted her collar from behind.

Her petite body was suspended in mid-air. Seeing Rong Shuo about to throw her into the stream, she quickly clung to his neck like an octopus, her long legs wrapped tightly around his waist.

"Brother, I was wrong,"

Yun Zheng said with a mournful expression.

"There's another way. When I reach the Spiritual Emperor level, I can untie it." A ripping sound echoed as he tore her collar, revealing a small expanse of delicate, fair skin on her upper back.

"Get off this cliff!" The deep, angry voice echoed relentlessly from the cliff bottom, nearly rupturing Yun Zheng's eardrums.

If she hadn't possessed any spiritual power, Rong Shuo would have likely used it to blast her away.

"Brother, I'll be down now. Don't be angry." Seeing his genuine anger, Yun Zheng didn't hesitate and quickly jumped off him.

After Yun Zheng steadied herself, she looked up at Rong Shuo and said in a negotiating tone, "Brother, I know you're definitely unwilling to have sexual intercourse with me. There's only one way: wait until I become a Spiritual Emperor, and then our destiny will be automatically unlocked."

"How can a worthless person like you, unable to cultivate, become a Spiritual Emperor?"

It was absurd!

Rong Shuo's deep eyes narrowed slightly, and his voice was like a cascade of icy cold, sending shivers down his spine.

He stared at the woman before him. Though her face was covered in blood, she was incredibly lively, especially her eyes, which flickered with a sly glint.

They were slightly different from the women he had met before.

Yun Zheng immediately patted her chest and assured her, "I have a seal within me. Once it's broken, I'll be able to cultivate."

Rong Shuo raised an eyebrow. She did indeed have a seal within her, and it was an ancient one. It seemed she held many secrets.

Heterogeneous eyes, an ancient seal…

"Without the cultivation of a Spiritual Emperor, you can't even break this seal," Rong Shuo said.

Yun Zheng, with a meek, ingratiating expression, secretly grasped his slender, bony hand with her claws and shook it coquettishly. "Brother, I know you're the best. Please help me break the seal. I will definitely practice hard and strive to break through to the Spiritual Emperor level as soon as possible!"

The soft little hand was pressed into his, and Rong Shuo was momentarily distracted.

He lowered his eyes to glance at their touching hands, and an inexplicable strange feeling crossed his heart. He... didn't seem to dislike it.

Soft, warm.

In the darkness, the tips of the man's ears began to redden, but no one noticed.

Rong Shuo said coldly, "Let go."

"Okay, brother." Yun Zheng readily let go, looking well-behaved and sensible.

Seeing this, Rong Shuo calmly put his hands behind his back.

"I can partially remove the seal for you, but even then, you're still too weak. Anyone could crush you to death. For my safety, you must return with me."

"No!"

Yun Zheng immediately rejected the offer.

Going back with him would mean being imprisoned by him, a thought that made Yun Zheng feel lonely and cold.

"You have no choice!" Rong Shuo glared at her coldly.

If Qingfeng and Mo Yu were here, hearing Yun Zheng's unwavering refusal, they would probably scold her for being foolish. Following the Emperor was a gift and opportunity from heaven!

Yun Zheng's smile instantly faded, replaced by a serious expression. "I have family. I can't leave."

Rong Shuo remained silent.

Yun Zheng raised her hand and untied the belt around her waist. Her dirty, bloodstained coat slid open, revealing her tender pink bellyband.

"What are you doing?" Rong Shuo took a step back in shock, then quickly turned his head away.

"If you think it's unrealistic for me to cultivate to become a Spiritual Emperor, the best thing to do now is—"

Rong Shuo shouted, "Shut up!"

Rong Shuo knew she was threatening him.

He had many ways to make her submit, like draining her memories, or turning her into a fool and then locking her away...

"I promise you, but you must cultivate to become a Spiritual Emperor within three years. If you don't, you will be deprived of your freedom after three years."

Yun Zheng heard this, a triumphant smile playing on her lips.

"Brother, you are truly handsome and kind-hearted," Yun Zheng said with a grin.

Rong Shuo felt a throbbing in his forehead.

—The next morning.

Yun Zheng emerged from the cliff. Yes, she had been driven out.

Yun Zheng recalled the seal he had spent the entire night lifting, and while he had only managed to remove one-seventh of it, she could now sense spiritual energy.

She could also use her spiritual sense to see her dantian and sea of consciousness. However, her dantian seemed different from that of ordinary people. Hers was a small lake, while the others in her memory were a field.

She could look inside her Dantian, and Rong Shuo could also look inside. She did not ignore the fact that he frowned after seeing it, as if he was puzzled.

Rong Shuo, that pretty boy, could not explain what was going on.

In the center of the Dantian of this lake, there was a strange and complicated seal pattern, with seven iron chain-like seals, but now one of them was broken.

The road is long and arduous, and I will search up and down.

This seal is probably related to the original owner's mother, Jun Lan.

Jun Lan's origins are mysterious. My grandfather said that she has an excellent alchemy skill and unfathomable strength.

Yun Zheng wore a wide dress.

A large black robe, a small face cleansed. Her eyebrows were as delicate as a painting, her eyes long and radiant, her eyelashes long and slightly curled, her skin as white and delicate as cream.

She looked about fourteen or fifteen.

 "Ouch..."

 Yun Zheng frowned, sighing bitterly.

Her whole body ached, and even moving was difficult.

"Damn Rong Shuo! I just released the seal, and you're kicking a weak woman like me out. How unmanly!" Yun Zheng muttered softly. "Wait until I'm powerful, and I'll make you my bed warmer!"

Unbeknownst to her, her scolding had reached him. His face darkened, and he gritted his teeth.

Finally, his thin lips slowly parted: "Very well!"

Yun Zheng walked for a long time, encountering several groups of spirit beasts along the way. She narrowly avoided them, and when she couldn't, she used the ancient martial arts she had learned in her previous life to fight them.

In her previous life, she was a genius, learning everything, ultimately mastering only pupil techniques and metaphysics, with ancient martial arts as secondary.

Strangely, so far, she'd only encountered spirit beasts of the second or third tier.

Spirit beasts are categorized as tiers one through nine, then holy beasts, which also have tiers nine, and then divine beasts, super divine beasts, and so on.

This was deep within the Flame Forest, so why wasn't there a single high-level spirit beast?

 It was truly puzzling.

Furthermore, an unusual aura permeated the depths of the Flame Forest. Yun Zheng narrowed her eyes, squatted down, and picked up a dry branch...
